Can someone give me tips on how to start reading books again?

I can power through audio books like no end, but I just can’t seem to concentrate and focus when reading. I either get distracted or immediately forget what I just read. Not to mention when I put the book down I never seem to have the motivation to pick it up again no matter how engaging the story? Idk whats wrong with me.

What is with this reoccurring trope in movies and books that portray the mentally ill as shy delicate creatures wrapped up in blankets reading books and drinking tea all day? I haven't been able to read in two years, I just have no passion for it anymore and cannot concentrate or focus for any length of time- and hell if i'm getting out of bed to make that tea. Forget about it.
