//So, after a bit of a pondering and poking other people for their thoughts on it, I’ve decided to move Tosh to my currently still under construction multimuse. Currently I’m still not accepting interactions there, and I will not be accepting further interactions here for now.
Whether this move is only temporary or permanent depends on how much interest and activity there is, because honestly, I just don’t have the energy to maintain a full blog for a single muse that I haven’t had much inspiration to write lately, and hopefully getting a fresh start with additional muses will help.
That, and if I can ever manage to actually sleep when I’m supposed to. Chronic insomnia is a bitch. Seriously.
psa - - if you rp a character that - was only in one episode or a movie little known - is hated - a female muse - no one knows bc the fandom is small or nonexistent - an oc continue !!!! writing !!! your !! character !! there is a reason you love them like you do and if you feel like no one wants to write with you or other wise i can assure you !! that people love your writing and that they enjoy seeing you on your dash and that they love screaming about plots and branching out your character !!

PSA: tumblr is blocking ‘promo’ from tags & search results
What this means for the indie rpc —
If you use the word promo in your tags (as many people do, simply as just ‘promo’, ‘self promo’, ‘dual promo’, ‘joint promo’, etc), your post will not show up in any search or tag tracking results.
One potential workaround that is currently functional (at least until tumblr changes it again), is to add punctuation to the word promo - a period at the end seems to be a popular solution (ie ‘promo.’, ‘self promo.’, etc.).
The big thing to remember is that even including the word promo in your tags without adding anything to disrupt tumblr’s filtering system, your post will not show up in any other tags either.
So please, update your tags to help promote your own blogs and those of your friends, as otherwise blogs are going to have an even more difficult time finding one another the more tags that tumblr blocks.
PSA UPDATE — as of March 4, 2019
While promo is still blocked as a tag itself, it is no longer blocked from searches, meaning that alternative tags work once more. The following tags are known to be functional and active as of the date of this update:
promo.
self promo.
self promo
rp promo
indie promo
roleplay promo
Any mention of ‘promo’ in your tags (for those who use custom tags for promos) will no longer result in your post not showing up in other tags.

your ‘canon’ character is an oc. they’re an oc from the original creator of the series.
there’s nothing wrong w/ having a preference but if you think that ‘canon characters’ are better, guess what – there rly isn’t such a thing as canon character.

Toshiko angled her gun up the short stairwell and kept close to the outer wall. The handrail and the concrete paint were smeared red where something had hurried up ahead of her, but this was no time to be fastidious about getting in on her clothes. She remembered Jack warning her about this during basic training: ‘Better red than dead,’ he’d joked. Except that staying alive wasn’t a joke. Her dry cleaner had seen worse than this and not asked any questions. But then again, her dry cleaner was Ianto.
