I find people who are obsessed with debating unbearable… I stand by my beliefs and opinions but if someone disagrees with me I’m not wasting huge amounts of time and energy trying to argue my point. people who love being a contrarian and ‘winning’ arguments are usually weird and insufferable, they get off on being confrontational and even aggressive and it’s also a massive ego thing where they want to feel like they have power over others by ‘beating’ them in an argument or being ‘right’
