They phoned to say they loved me and they're going to send me a job offer

So when the hiring manager called me I also explained that I am due to take my sabbatical next week, and that if I hand notice, then I forfeit the sabbatical.

Figured I'd let them know now, I might be willing to lose a week of it, but I am not going to lose a 4 week paid sabbatical for a new job.

It's a tough one, they are always desperate for people to start as soon as possible, and a 3 month notice is a long time, so adding on a few weeks won't go down well. But if they really love me as much as they say, they should forgive that.

Anyway, hopefully won't impact their decision, but I am not losing 4 weeks paid holiday 😂
