Hey do you guys ever make your own decisions or form your own ideas on how you would personally like to look that’s not based around what’s currently being sold to you. Is that not possible

anyone who is saying any variation of this ^ EXACTLY. I take aspects from trends I see all the time. It's not because I think it's what's currently acceptable to wear, it's because I never thought of it before and seeing it on someone else can really inspire you. I feel like this must be even more impactful if you're a non white person or non skinny person and you see people "pull off" looks that you've previously been told would only look good on someone without your skintone/hairtype/bodytype. Nothing wrong with having on-trend clothes, it's just weird to me when people change their whole look based on a tiktok influencer I've never heard of
