After three years, I was finally given the opportunity to make an updated version of all the characters from Poppy Playtime in one massive illustration!
Possibly my most ambitious illustration I've ever done. With this taking 68 hours to complete and having over 100+ characters featured, I wanted to make sure every single one of them got the same amount of attention and detail with out error. This holds a new record for most amount of characters in an illustration and I'm so happy how it turned out in the end.
Consider this being a form of my love-letter to Poppy Playtime. ❤️

my thoughts about Caine's model lacking many essential facial features (as if he was never intended to show any emotions) and yet him being literally the most expressive character in the circus despite everything.
me being low-key obsessed with the implications episode 7 left us with. Players questioning everything they've been told and Caine being in the center of it all.
Just to be clear, I do believe Caine is written as a sentient AI who is just struggling to understand humanity and everything that comes with it. And I think these thoughts about him faking his emotions are inherently wrong within a story. He's oblivious and desperate but not malicious. But couple it with the fact that he's been lying about many other things (so far I'm inclined to think it was for players' sake in his own eyes) and that humans have been suffering for a while dealing with a literal god that doesn't understand them... Well, I have a feeling that they will doubt his motives and literally everything they know, rightfully so.
The amount of attention this little comic received is a bit terrifying and overwhelming and seeing all the different interesting interpretations people come up with I just wanted to explain mine own a little better <3
I want them all to be healed and happy, little guy absolutely included, but man the situation is rough, and the odds are against us

After watching the newest chapter that came out last month, I have started work on my new official PPT AU called…
Abandoned Nostalgia is my new rewrite au which focuses on a new main character instead of an ex employee. She will rediscover some old memories met with the horrors left behind within the abandoned Playtime CO. Toy Factory. Also I got my au set in a fictional place I’ve made up since there hasn’t really been official conformation for which state this is all set in and have only been clues, implications, and theories and all of that stuff. But anyways, the factory itself is set in the woods outside of a small West-Michigan town called St. Flanders ( and yes I know there’s an uncooperative community in Michigan called Flanders, I only just found out about it lol ).
Also here is a Poppy redesign I’ve made just for this AU. I kept her red hair & blue eyes, but made her design a little less of the long lost twin sister of the Wendy’s Macot and more into the design I have just made for her from the prologue, all the way to the latest chapter thus far:
I still got more characters to redesign and make some new designs for my own characters that I’ll be adding into this AU. But until I post the next redesigns and all of that, plz stay tuned. Also I might edit her design a little at some point, but so far this is what I got. I think she looks pretty good 👍
( also by the time I post this post, it’ll be Poppy’s birthday so happy birthday )
