Itβs been a little bit since Iβve given a proper update on my Baldurβs Gate 3 Curse of Strahd mod, soβ¦ I come with updates!
Dinner With Strahd: A Curse of Strahd Story Mod for BG3 - Updates!
I've been trying to stick as close to the 5e module as I can in regards to rooms and events, even the stupid events like the flying mannequin π Almost all of the canonical NPCs and about 90% of Castle Ravenloft will be present when itβs done. My game plan is to break the mod down into three big updates:
Update 1: Published! The ground floor of Ravenloft and 90% of the story.
Update 2: This will be the upper floors of Ravenloft. Three new mini quests, 6 fully voiced NPCs (along with oodles of animals you can talk to), and the most new rooms of the updates. I'm about 75% done with this one and am hoping to publish it early July. The 5e layout of Castle Ravenloft is STUPID and I HATE IT but I MADE IT WORK.
Update 3: The lower floors of Ravenloft, 4 NPCs, and a second, harder boss battle that I'm pretty jazzed about. This one hopefully shouldn't take me as long because there's fewer characters I need to animate.
In other exciting news, Iβve gotten the custom head model for Strahd that the very talented @wrenanigans made imported, and thatβll be incorporated in update 2!
