            A POUT FINDS    its way unto crimson lips,  gaze pulling away from her;  they were not working too hard  !!  You can never work too hard for the people you love  !!  Never  !!  Moving the chopsticks back against the food, they pick up a couple of vegetables before shoving them into their mouth  &  swallowing.  Tea did sound a bit better than water now that they thought about it,  maybe she had their favorite  ?   

                              ❛        If it’s not too much trouble,  Kaiyonokami,  may I have some tea  ?  I’ll feed you as a thank you  !!    &  after dinner,  I’ll brush your hair  &  we can have girl time  !!  You know,  like sparring  or  telling stories  or  whatever else  !!          ❜  

          ❛  WELL  OF  course,  silly  !!  that’s  why  i  brought  it.  not  until  you  stop  that  pouting  though.  ❜

          BUSYING  HERSELF  IN  locating  and  filling  the  kettle  with  water,  she’s  already  made  herself  quite  at  home.  a  pleasant  lilt  was  evident  in  her  movements,  long  midnight  hair  bouncing  upon  her  back.  peace  already  filled  the  room  like  the  fragrance  of  spring,  making  way  for  the  relaxation  both  of  them  needed.

                Perhaps that was not the original plan,  as they were quite hungry,  starving more than anything.  It wasn’t an often thing  but,  they had forgotten to eat due to burying themselves in work once again  &  thus,  time slipped them by  &  before they knew it,  they had spent two days without eating.

                Even so, they move the meat between their chopsticks  &  lift it up towards her, their other hand coming to lay under it should anything drip or slip from the chopsticks. 

                                   ❛        Be sure to eat a lot,  okay,  Kaiyonokami  ?  I don’t want you to eat sick by not eating  !!         ❜

          ❛  WOW,  SURE  will.  and  look,  i  even  happen  to  have  some  of  my  favorite  tea  !!  shall  i  make  you  s  —  ❜

          STOPPED  ABRUPTLY  IN  her  tracks  by  the  immediate  offering  of  food,  she  leaned  down  to  receive  it  quickly.  a  smile  soon  after  set  upon  her  lips,  clearly  satisfied  by  the  taste.  soon  she  straightened,  waving  the  tea  bags  in  the  air  before  folding  her  arms  across  her  chest.

“General’s orders. But you recognise what all these are for, don’t you?” 

Yagen stated as he placed the boxes of coolant that he had bought from the town nearby into a cart. A cart filled with boxes and sacks of coolant and coal. The Toushirou then sat on the cart, taking out a lump of coal from a sack to examine it closely.

“The citadel is paying for all this. The horse to pull this cart however… do you know where to find one here?”

          TONE  GROWING  MORE  and  more  impatient,  kaiyo  was  certainly  not  holding  back  in  voicing  her  disposition.  disgruntled  as  it  was  from  being  pulled  away  from  her  morning  tea,  the  inconvenience  of  it  all  only  added  to  it.  her  composure  then  shifted  to  that  of  chastising,  waving  the  list  in  front  of  her  as  she  spoke.

          IT  WAS  NOT  confusion  which  sparked  from  the  risen  tone  of  her  voice,  but  incredulity.  the  words  scrawled  upon  the  parchment  were  all  but  gibberish  to  her  and  left  no  compelling  notion  to  investigate  further.

          EMBERS  LINGERED  WITHIN  the  depths  of  her  eyes,  the  chill  of  the  wind  threatening  to  ignite  them.  tightly  she  pulled  the  fabric  around  her  shoulders  as  vexed  sigh  passed  soft  lips.  a  faded  flush  dusted  the  crests  of  her  cheeks,  accompanied  by  hurried  breaths.

          STARING  DOWN  AT  her  hands,  she  allowed  such  a  contemplative  stillness  rest  upon  her  features.  memories  as  clear  as  day,  sounds  and  words  created  every  feeling  in  her  bones.  even  when  it  all  shattered,  when  the  trials  of  life  left  her  in  shards  at  her  master’s  feet,  that  too  was  all  a  part  of  what  defined  her  now  as  a  human.  the  possibilities  of  course-altering  events  as  a  blade  were  limitless,  yet  kaiyo  wished  to  but  nothing  than  who  she  was.
