Also it has wee David McCallum as the other main lead, Bernard Hepton being his usual excellent self as the Commandant, more Le Grand Illusion than Nazi thug, and a host of guest actors including Pat Troughton, Michael Gough, Peter Barkworth and Geoffrey Palmer. And in series 2 (which I’m only halfway through) you get to play Your Fave Is Problematic Because He’s A Nazi with Anthony Valentine, who is flipping tremendous (and also deffo in a love/hate ust eyefucking thing with David McCallum.)

Also, Colditz is really good. Who knew?! The writing is excellent, and the cast includes Bernard Hepton and Michael Gough. I highly recommend. And it's all on YouTube.
