but, anyway, re: pippa wanting something more. i honestly don’t think steve has ever stopped and thought about her as more than just a friend. i think he’s always been so torn between leslie and becca that he’s never really considered anyone else?? and he’s also never considered the fact that he can’t spend his whole life being torn between leslie and becca. he’s either going to eventually have to pick one or they’re both going to find someone else.

and i think that’s the kind of thing that really needs to be pointed out to him??? because i really doubt he’d see that on his own. but that also might not be the kind of thing he would talk about with pippa? i honestly don’t know if he realizes that he’s not super subtle about his feelings and pippa knows that he likes both of them? so maybe that’s a potential conversation they could have later?

Hhahah omg @ Seth/Becca talking about guys!!!!! If he’s all weird about it like that, she probably tries to be as vague about her past flings, etc. when she talks to him??? Plus, it’s weird for her, too, y’know??? I think part of Becca wishes she could tell Seth about it, b/c he’s her best friend and she wants to tell him everything, but yeah if he gets all protective ++ it’s strange for her to talk to a guy she likes about other guys???? Also, I think that Becca ends up either dating guys who are kinda assholes and really only want the benefits oR guys who are way too clingy/needy and basically she’s only with them for a hot second and then she’s done, but ultimately none of the guys she’s ever dated are really good enough for her either??? And I think it’s pretty obvious to pretty much everyone eXCEPT for Becca and tbh I think that part of is settling for them b/c the guys who do like her (aka seth) doesn’t like her back and I think that she really wants to get over Seth b/c she knows that he’s always gonna be in love with Rachel and never look at her that way and for the sake of their relationship, it would just be wayyy better for her to be interested in someone else.

ANYWAY, enough seth/becca haha I LOVE THE IDEA THAT STEVE/BECCA START HOOKING UP AT A PARTY THO!!!!! I feel like becca would internally be like “what are we” but ofc irl she doesn’t say anything at all and tries to be ~cool~ about it, haha. but I can see her lowkey freaking out b/c steve is a realllly good friend and she likes him, but she wouldn’t want to just have a fling w/ him, b/c she doesn’t wanna ruin their friendship but part of her thinks that maybe she and steve would be good together and yeah, she’d be very conflicted about her emotions re: whatever is going on, but yeah … wouldn’t say a word of this to steve b/c she’s TERRIBLE when it comes to communicating her feelings, especially in relationships haha.

But I love that they’ve been talking all of this time!!!!! And yeah, Becca would def be a little taken back by serious!steve at first, but she’d also get it??? but I think that she’d also try to pull out the old steve again, too, y’know?

hmmm. do you think seth has ever met any of becca’s exs? or ever seen her with anyone she’s dated? because i kind of get the feeling he hasn’t. i think he thinks of becca like his sisters and kind of glosses over the fact that they have love lives too because that concept is weird for him? but with becca, i don’t think he’s ever really stopped to think about why. i think in the back of his mind he’s always thought it would be seth and becca forever. and he’s never really considered the possibility that she will eventually have a relationship and have her own life and it might not always include him.

so for that, i think steve and becca having a thing and seth seeing it would be GREAT for seth. and it would definitely give him the opportunity to realize that he does have feelings for her.

okay so i’ll probably text you about this later and we can plot out all the seth/steve/becca pieces. but what if steve and becca start ~kind of dating? and steve lives in seth’s building so that would be double awkward. but idk how you feel about becca potentially moving in with seth but that could be TRIPLE AWKWARD. (basically someone just open a hole in the ground to swallow seth bc he’s gonna need it).

but i think at some point in there, steve might have a little crisis. because he likes becca and this feels right but he also doesn’t want it to ruin their friendship??? AND he also still has feelings for leslie and wants to explore that/wants to make sure that if he does actually start things with becca he’s going to be all in and not still hung up on leslie (and i think that works vice versa too. if he starts something with leslie, he wants to make sure he doesn’t still have feelings for becca.)

so honestly i think they should either be at a bar or a party and end up accidentally making out and then start ~kind of dating???

oh also. i did rethink steve a little bit and i think he’s been in town for about two months. and maybe he’s seen becca once or twice in that time or maybe they haven’t seen each other yet?? maybe their schedules haven’t really aligned yet? but he’s also friends with gabby and i think he might be ~slowly coming back to his old self and maybe has moments where he’s not as serious???

Now he’s back at his old job … and his old unresolved feelings regarding Becca and Leslie are still there.

And that sounds great! Maybe they met in school sometime and were just bffs ever since?!? 

Anyway, Steve left for about two years or so and he’s only been back for a couple of months (.... I think. wOW I NEED TO WORK ON TIMELINES) and I don’t think these two really seem like the type who would’ve kept in touch while Steve was gone. (Do you get that vibe from them too??) So maybe they haven’t seen each other since Steve has been back?? I could see that reunion being fun though.

And yeah!! I see Steve having run with the, like, ~bad kids though. Not really being a jock. But I could seriously see him having been in Tony’s crowd?? So maybe that was a thing? But yes. Totally think they should’ve met in high school have have been friends since.

I have close to zero knowledge of Grey’s other than there being a musical episode. (This is all a very sad coincidence, but I once made a mix called The Dead Sister’s Club for another roleplay.) Regardless, they would definitely qualify!! Members of the board I would even say. 

irONY. (Though that mix looks awesome!!!!) But truth. They totally would qualify. And actually, I could see these two and Tony (any other peeps in VA Beach with dead family/loved ones??) going out once a month with a bottle of tequila and just watching the tide roll in and talking about the people they’ve lost. So maybe they really do have some type of ~unofficial a dead family member’s club??

Oh I think that’s actually pretty close to Steve’s timeline as well. He could’ve gone to college but ~lazy and then his Dad died so he started working at Dough Boys (actually maybe a little before he graduated?? I need to work on his timeline but depending on when his Dad died, he might’ve needed the money while he was still in high school and that could’ve contributed to his not super great grades/no motivation). So they have probably known each other a lot of years.

BUT I LOVE THAT IDEA TOO!!! That should totally have bonded them and made then actual friends. Which is probably also what lead to Steve’s feelings for Leslie. But I can definitely see them being friends outside of Dough Boys and maybe going to movies and things. oR CARNIVALS. I dunno, I can just picture these two playing those little arcade games, haha. i lOVE THIS IDEA SO MUCH.

ahahahahahah ommggg seth!!! that would actually really get becca mad like “aRE YOU kiDDING Me?!?!?!?! you can be all googly eyes for rachel – who iS LITEraLLY sATAN – and i can’t date a nice guy????????? like????????” and if he wasn’t so completely obsessive over rachel, becca might wonder if he does like her but since she thinks that his entire world rises and sets with rachel, she’s like “why are you being dumb about this???????” 

i do think that becca has dated before (or kinda dated?? i mean i don’t think she’s ever been ~serious with anyone or called them her “boyfriend” b/c she tends not to have “the talk” to figure out if they are dating or if they are just friends w/ benefits or what after she makes out with someone and doesn’t want to have the talk and like she wants to know what her relationship status is with a guy but she doesn’t want to actually ask and so she doesn’t and so her relationships have been weird. that being said, i think she’s only ever been with guys back at school and idk if seth even knows about them?? b/c they were never “official” and it would feel weird for her to talk to seth about boys tbh and like she would def tell him if he asked that she had ~flings or whatever but nothing serious, but she never would have actually brought it up. but i don’t think that seth has ever seen her with another guy before. 

Tbh, I’m not even sure Seth would know why he’s being dumb about it??? I think he actually does have feelings for Becca but he’s never really thought about it before?? And it’s never really come up since he’s never seen her with anyone. But I think that jealously is going to be there when he finally does and he’s going to just act on it and now really stop to think about why he’s jealous and if he even has any right to be jealous?? Like woah there Seth. Sort out your feelings, bro.

SETH AND BECCA TALKING ABOUT GUYS THOUGH. I CAN’T THINK OF ANYTHING MORE AWKWARD. Oh my goodness. I feel like Seth is two parts that older brother who is like mEN ARE SCUM NO GUY WILL EVER BE WORTHY and would basically sit on the porch cleaning his shotgun if any guy ever came around and, like, one part the potiential boyfriend though he doesn’t even know it yet. Sorry I got a phone call in the middle of typing this paragraph aND FORGOT WHERE I WAS GOING WITH THAT. But, honestly, I do think Seth seeing Becca with someone else would be a really interesting thing for their relationship.

So that leads me to an idea. What if Steve and Becca up at a party together or something and end up off kissing in a corner or something like that and then they can have that moment of “okay what is going on here?!?!!” but also maybe Seth sees it?? So double duty plotting, haha.
