         She can’t just say she’s a body language expert. Then his posture pattern will go  way off, and she won’t be able to recognize his normal pattern from when it differs. What could she say that wouldn’t give too much away. L was probably seriously rolling his eyes at her already. She couldn’t screw up now.

Keeping her voice calm, Aveline informed him as vaguely as possible,

           ”Just think of it as palm reading, except for your entire body.”

                         His brows furrow and he gets what she is saying almost                          immediately. Though at first his face had an almost glow                          of indifference, he's now sliding his hand to the back of his                          head and giving her a wide smile.

            ❛ Oh, so you mean you're going to tell my future to               me by the way I'm standing? That's pretty impressive. ❜

           ❛No…                            mostly just out of curiosity.❜                                 ( or something close to curiosity. )                         But it’s definitely not for fun. Was it weird ? To watch                         someone out of curiosity. Yes, probably, but it’s better                         than telling the truth — although he no doubt suspects                         that Light has already figured out the truth.                                   Even so, when the other turns away, he does not                                   divert his own gaze. Light’s words have done                                    nothing to stop that.

                                                   A small smile travels across his lips at that for some                                                    reason. It is the downfall of most, that word. Light is                                                    glad that he isn't too curious, however, he knows L to                                                    be so. Since he's turned away from the other, he's not                                                    worried about being suspicious, but perhaps he can                                                    take away from this conversation that he needs to                                                    start acting a different way as to not be caught.
