assign jin and marc their loona bias for shits and giggles
I put too much thought into this.
Before all else, I will establish that if Loona was a part of the world and their lives, Mariam would NOT know anything about it until Jin sat her down and forced her to watch every single one of the MVs in order. She'd bring out that fuckass mobius strip chart and everything. Jin's bias would probably change based on the weather, but I think she'd loop through Kim Lip, Yves, and Olivia Hye.
After a LOT of prodding, Marc says her bias is Haseul, because her debut solo is her favorite. She also likes to refer to Love Cherry Motion as "love chair emotion" because it annoys Jin.
Hornet Phone In Bed was made unrebloggable so I'm making my own post for it
yknow ive heavily considered sensitivity readers for certain trans characters in how much longer just for the sake of ensuring i dont do stupid bullshit, but the problem with having any sort of reader for hml is that now they have to understand all the batshit insane stuff surrounding everyone including the trans characters and that sounds like a nightmare

was thinking about a conversation i had and the realization that "rape where victim eventually enjoys it" sucks for me in the same way that "it was all just a dream" sucks. like damn what was even the point then
i know i already said lace is way too advanced for me right now. and it absolutely is. honestly even trying widow first was bold. but god i want to play lace so bad. its such a good song and it sounds incredible on the piano. fuck man.
man what the fuck

im no scientist but i do not believe the reason poly relationships have more drama is because theres some inherent problem with that type of relationship. im pretty sure its just because when theres more people in a group theres more drama
with my bottom surgery consult pushed back by two months, i have more time to try to articulate my desire for it. i dont know man. i kinda just want the thing lmao. kinda just want it there. what am i going to do with it? hang out with it i guess. dunno. hope thats enough

*smooches jin’s scalp*… torment her some more plzzz
I’m stuck in an overwhelming loop because I have so many ways to hurt her and I just can’t pick one.
concept: dickhead butch bro promises to bring all their friends to their stupid kid sibling’s birthday party cause she keeps trying to copy them with the short hair and the boy clothes and the begging to meet all their butch buddies because she wants to be just like them.
shes so excited to see all these older butches celebrating her birthday and theyre acting cool with her and she thinks wow!! that could be me!! and then she gets the shit kicked out of her and passed around until 4 am and when its all over and shes laying there barely conscious in her own puke, cunt stuffed with ping pong balls and half a gallon of beer leaking out her ass, douche bro over here promises to take her under their wing…as their bitch!!! haha suckerrr
they didn't see her.
Recording a sub while they're in deep subspace and making them say embarrassing things like how much of a cumslut they are or how much they love to suck dick and everytime they mouth off you just send them that video
how’s it going learning widow on piano? i haven’t played piano since i was a kid but from what i remember that sheet music really does look hard asf ðŸ˜
Haven't gotten that far honestly. It is very difficult, at least for me. My biggest weakness(besides my inability to sight read, which has hampered all song-learning for years) is learning a song where the left and right hand has to move independently from each other in some manner. I work very well with predictable rhythms and time signatures, but Larkin clearly doesn't want to do that. My hands naturally want to follow each other in a specific pattern. The songs I played as a kid I performed well because I always had difficulty reading notes, and my methods skewed heavily towards just memorizing the song like a reflex, to the point where if I got distracted in the middle of a piece, I'd be UNABLE to continue because my conscious mind doesn't keep the notes in there; at that point, playing a song is the equivalent to touch typing. My body just does it.
Widow is in 4/4 times(I think. I don't have the sheet in front of me due to being away from home) so theoretically that shouldn't be too difficult, but it being composed originally for a string quintet means this transcription is trying to integrate all the little flourishes into a single instrument played with two hands. My absolute favorite part of Widow is the post key-shift violin countermelody that is passed from the first and second violin and back to the first upon its conclusion. That's not easy to do when you're also trying to play...everything else.
Obviously it's much easier than attempting to replicate the original Widow using only a violin or a cello or whatever, because the piano is capable of doing weird shit a lot of other solo instruments can't, but it is not easy. For me. I am not a good judge of a song's difficulty honestly, because it's been so long since I've played that I have trouble with things that most actual pianists would be able to grasp.

im bored someone give me gross shit to talk about. i need to torment a character or something.
Since first playing Silksong, I've been pretty certain somebody on Team Cherry was either a woman or raised as one.
I wasn't sure who, nor did I particularly care for those details, and I certainly didn't speculate publicly. That's their business. But I was fairly sure there was a woman deeply involved with the game's creation.
Because while queerness and gender fuckery has always been built into the core of these games, Silksong specifically is, among other things, a game about mothers and daughters and complex female relationships. And while there are talented cis male authors who write some fantastic female characters, Silksong presents the exquisite, multifaceted grief of female identity with a nuance that can only come from the intimate knowledge of lived experience.
Anyways, congratulations to Ms. Jasmine Vine. May she be celebrated in the communities her work helped create.
