the thing about selfishness that always confuses me is that nobody can figure out the acceptable limit. Some people say that kindness is free and that's fine, but selflessness is more that kind words. Doing substantial actions to help people ISN'T FREE. Time and energy and social battery are valuable resources. But how far does common courtesy stretch? Like, I understand not going out of your way to be an asshole, but why is selfishness bad? Especially selfishness towards people you have no obligation towards? Shouldn't your own wellbeing be a priority?

I recently noticed a problem I've been having with personality tests in particular. Not sure if it's the factor analysis and grouping everything into boxes... but everytime I take a personality test whether it be Myers-Briggs or even the Big Five/OCEAN model, I rate myself as a pretty disorganized person and somehow that gets translated to me being a spontaneous, freedom-loving, go-with-the-flow-er. And... that's just... not me? Like can I not be disorganised in space but organised in mind?
