I identify the most with the woman who has a green velvet ribbon around her neck and keeps being like "DONT untie my neck ribbon or something really bad will happen" and then her husband unties the ribbon and her head falls off. this is extremely real to me. spent my whole life like "please don't do this thing to me or really bad stuff will happen" and everyone around me being like "that sounds fake" and doing it anyway. and then my head fell off!

priest x demon is SO awesome like. can you imagine. though it doesn’t really work since I doubt Cap and Steve would realistically be men of the church. However. I Don’t Care. Father John and Father Steve and Acolyte Moss who looks a little too good wearing a habit.
Moss moving up in the church, getting close and earning trust with the priests. it’s nice to see the youth so devoted to the faith, letting two seasoned men go on and on. these conversations do not end at God. John knows that he should stay professional, but Moss is so… disarming. he finds himself sharing parts of himself, old stories of his own youth, his interests, even his marriage and how it fell apart. it was out of character for him, sharing such deeply intimate moments with anyone after his divorce was unheard of, not even Father Steve knows the details of that catastrophe. it wasn’t a relationship by any means, but he talked. that was much more than anyone got out of him recently. the way Moss looks at him…
Respect. That’s What It Was, Surely.
and it was, to an extent. Moss was in deep, and he easily masked his and affection as Respect. John wasn’t stupid, but he was emotionally constipated. so passively depressed that he couldn’t imagine anyone seeing him as anything more than a role model. he didn’t see it as a flaw, of course. it was just a fact. his devotion to God was enough for him, and he was thankful that Moss thought so highly of him and yet, it wasn’t enough. what he was feeling definitely wasn’t just protectiveness. it was something dangerous and vulnerable and it would get him in trouble… he just wasn’t sure how deep
Steve knew better. something was wrong with Moss. he mistook politeness as friendship, or didn’t get social cues, or just spoke with the cadence of someone mimicking how another person spoke. the way Moss looked at him wasn’t purely out of admiration or simple respect. hell, it wasn’t even reverence. It Was Longing. A dark, sinful Longing that no mere mortal could possess. Steve was skeptical, and Moss knew. the time those two shared was less than polite. first it was narrowed eyes, then tight smiles, then passive aggressive wording before exploding into accusations. loud ones. all the incubus did was smile an infuriating smile and deny it with the sweetest voice.
even then, Steve felt something. a pull. a beautiful warm and fuzzy feeling. his breath caught at the sight of Moss. he turned into a stammering idiot. his ears would get red just talking to the little bastard. it was agonizing. he was stronger than this! he could snap that lowly little imp in half. the other initiates didn’t help matters either! every single one of them laughed at his accusations, or outright told him he was seeing things. maybe he was. maybe Moss was just a guy. a guy who had something wrong with him, sure, but just a guy.
yeah, right. Steve would never fall victim to romanticism. hookups were his past life, nothing serious and he intended to keep it that way… and yet, he kept catching himself doing little things he never did with even the biggest conquests. staring too long, gravitating towards Moss, caring about how he looked…
He Was Sick. He Must Be. This Was Some Sort Of Demon Magic. He Was Being Seduced. Moss Was Trying To Suck Him Dry And Use His Body As A Puppet For Nefarious Deeds. Certainly.
it took a trip to the prayer room for Father John and Father Steve to face their feelings. they lit incense and candles and knelt.
denial was first. their feelings were simply friendship. they could at least admit their relationship with Moss wasn’t purely professional. unfortunately for them, they thought about it more. the whispered conversations, stolen touches that weren’t exactly innocent in nature, talk of personal life…
shame. pure, unadulterated, honest-to-god shame.
Moss was an acolyte, a member of the faith. this was inappropriate! they must repent. lusting after an initiate was bad enough, but as John and Steve looked at each other, a shadow appeared in the doorway. the door was locked. nobody was supposed to be able to get in here. John began to scold the intruder. you were never to interrupt prayer as long as the door was locked.
but it was Moss, and the anger just bled out of him. the attraction was worse than he thought. Steve was no different. he clasped his hands together once more, but his glasses fogged up from the heat his face. he couldn’t focus.
the soft, delicate brown of Moss’s eyes seemed brighter. they were beautiful when the sunlight hit them just right, but this was different. the candlelight gave him a glow, and John and Steve saw what they previously couldn’t. the shadows along the wall stretched as they both looked on in horror.
an incubus. there’s no doubting it. petite and fragile-looking, nothing like the demons they were warned about. the guy was 130 pounds soaking wet and only came up to their chests.
the habit came away, though they already knew what was beneath. horns. wings. tail. claws. a tiny black outfit that left little to the imagination was a surprise, though. perhaps Moss was aura farming. is that what the kids called it?
John stared, dumbfounded. Steve however felt vindicated. he jumped to his feet and started shouting at Moss, though there was less anger and more frustration at no one believing him. Moss just smiled and leaned back when Steve cornered him against the door— wait when did that close??
John felt something akin to fear. trapped. in the prayer room. with an incubus who looked very intent on getting a meal. Just Great.
he could not scream, of course. the prayer room’s walls were soundproof. prayers often got very intense in here, and even he was disturbed by the things he heard from outside the door before the room was renovated. he might as well be bound and gagged. there’s no telling what the demon could do, but he could fight. but…
did he want to?
Moss saw the conflict on John’s face. it was the perfect time to strike. this is the moment he waited for all this time. he slipped past Steve as he panted for breath (lots of yelling will do that to you) and pounced.
John closed his eyes, figuring he could at least pray for forgiveness one last time. he felt sharp teeth sinking into his arm, and only a moment later a sickening tear ripped through the room as muscle separated from bone. he did not scream, did not fight, did not resist. he let that beautiful demon tear him apart and feast on his flesh.
except he didn’t. when he opened his eyes, the incubus wasn’t eating him. Moss just sat in front of him, hands on his thighs. waiting.
what could this guy possibly want if not to eat him??????
when asked, Moss couldn’t answer. what did he want, actually? he was hungry, but eating this man wasn’t really on his mind. he could hunt down and eat literally anyone else. John and Steve were easy prey, but he continued to sit still.
they all stared at each other.
Moss spoke in tongues that John and Steve had not heard in a long time, yet they understood. they knew god has been dead for ages, but he wasn't gone. but this little harlot telling them to pack it up?? despite their stubbornness, they understood all too well what Moss was saying, what he was accusing them of…
how deeply embarrassing!! to fall prey to an incubus as a priest? to be tempted in such a holy place of worship!!!
they tried to cling to their faith. demons were foul creatures built on sinful desires! god was the way as it has always been…!
but what has god ever done for them anyway?
and so the seed of love was planted and they all lived happily ever after thenend
moral of the story: all you have to do is be a little bit autistic about two humans and suddenly you know your purpose #godisfakenews
