An update
Well, this is awkward.
So, it’s been well over a year since I’ve kind of disappeared into the void. There are a lot of reasons why, but I don’t want to bore anyone with all that nonsense. And I know it’s probably pretty obvious by now, but I figured I should officially come out and say this.
I’m abandoning Vermillion.
Again, there are a lot of reasons why and I won’t get into all of them, but I guess the main reason is that I just feel completely detached from the story. I started it in 2018 and since then I’ve grown a lot as a person and as a writer, and there are so many things that have changed in my life since then that the story itself feels like it belongs to someone completely different.
I’m still writing a lot, though the vast majority of it has gone unpublished except for some of my Untamed/Mo Dao Zu Shi fics which I’ve been posting under the username bichenqings, and I haven’t been posting there recently either because I wanted to say all of this first (and anxiety has been keeping me from doing it lol).
I’ll probably start publishing to my Nyxako account again some time in the future, but I doubt I’ll be keeping up with my Tumblr. My discord ID is Starlight#5067 though, so if anyone wants to chat or anything, my messages are always open.
Thank you to everyone who has commented on Vermilion in the past. It really means so much to me, and I’m sorry that I let you guys down.
