As I get older I’m finding that a lot of the “intellectuals” I used to admire are actually just condescending and pretentious. And also realizing how much more important it is to be present, considerate, and empathetic because nobody really knows what they’re talking about and anyone who claims to know everything about anything is feeding you bs.

do you ever get so disgusted with yourself, like you can not believe how stupid and thoughtless you are and it’s so frustrating because you keep telling yourself that you’ll do better next time but then next time rolls around and the same thing keeps happening and you end up in this pattern of mediocrity.

*doesnt even do the bare minimum* all in a day’s work

I’m from England and I literally could only answer a few of these 

when you accidentally slip up and call yourself worthless or a stupid fucking dumbass in front of someone and they look at you surprised and say “don’t say that about yourself!!” and you’re like,,,,, yo, man,,,, chill,,,, I am used to this
