I came across this image of Andy Cole ⬇️, a former Manchester United legend, while scrolling on Pinterest. I guess it was something about how the design of the ad looked retro, vintage, old and nostalgic at the same time that made a great impression on me.

I personally really enjoy playing football– it has always been my ​№1 sport for as long as I can remember. So, after staring at the vintage ad for a while, I immediately thought about drawing it in my style using the feelings and vibes of the ad print as a guide.
