Reminders

First and foremost, this is a kind, respectful, peaceful space. I will not tolerate any aggression or rudeness towards any person, group of people, or towards Infold. I'm here to give you information and hopium. This situation is stressful enough without adding negativity into the mix.

I do not have all the answers! I made logical assumptions based on the information I have. Without a statement from Infold, nothing can be 100% confirmed. Please take everything with a grain of salt, and use your critical thinking skills to draw your own conclusions.

I do not have substantial knowledge on coding or game development. I have a marketing degree and I currently work as a legal secretary. I am much more comfortable making assumptions about those particular topics, but I will gather as much information as I can about the situation as a whole.

Recap of Last Night

Yes, last night was a lot. But let me give you a very brief overview before we move into everything else.

"Coming soon" was removed. THIS IS NOT A BAD THING! This has also happened before! Here's a post with an explanation.

Valko's information remains fully intact. His WU story is the same as it was before the update, and the text messages from the Hunter's Association are still there. Here's my post with proof.

6.0 Updates

Glitches on glitches on glitches. Bugs everywhere. For example...

Not only that, but the bursts are glitching—specifically the myth bursts, from what I've seen. Limbs everywhere, discoloration, lagging—just a whole mess. The best explanation for this is that the devs had already added Valko's coding into the game, but chose not to release it with the current patch. Now, I don't know much about coding, but I do know that if one line is messed up, the whole thing is messed up.

I've received many messages saying that Valko's Discord channel and role were deleted. His channel was only hidden/archived, but the role was removed. I know this might seem like a step backwards, but I think of it differently. If Valko is coming back, he'll likely face a completely new announcement and reintroduction. I wouldn't take this as a major loss.

Speculation

Some are speculating that certain cards are being censored. I cannot confirm or deny this. However, in my opinion, most of the "changes" seem to be glitches rather than intentional changes. We'll know more as time goes on.

This timeline feels incredibly strange. Valko was announced on June 22nd. Infold insisted that he was here to stay on June 27th. They cancelled his release on June 30th. That's a really quick switch-up. There are definitely a lot of factors involved in this that we don't know about. Here's a post covering the timeline of events.

Here's a post speculating on the CCP's involvement. I think it's very possible, especially given the fact that we haven't received any kind of statement from Infold. If the government/law is involved, they are likely unable to say anything at all.

The possible CCP involvement is what brings me to my next point. I do not believe we're being ignored by Infold. If that were the case, they would have addressed the CN players and not global—but they didn't. They only announced the cancellation of BW2026 to them because it takes place in Shanghai. The cancellation of the JP event was only announced to JP players. I don't think we're being ignored, I think Infold is literally barred from making a statement.

According to this post, global players account for 52% of LADS's revenue. We have enough influence to make demands. Don't stop fighting!

infold thinks you are a joke and if you give in now, you will do exactly what they want. they want you to shut up and log in and reactivate your aurum pass and have a look at the rerun shop and buy their packs. that’s what they EXPECT you to do, so don’t do it 🫤

i’d like to imagine that the government intervention has left them hesitant to put out a statement with definite answers, but they have to know that the longer they’re silent, the worse it’ll get.

i’m not giving up hope, i won’t until we get a statement from them, and maybe even after that.

this is larger than valko, we have been advocating for so much change in the game. do not give in and let them sweep us under the rug AGAIN!!!!

the dim glow of the tv flickers across your face. your eyes begin to squint, and you’re doing your best to keep up with the movie, fighting the urge to fall asleep. meanwhile, comfortably sprawled out behind you on the couch, valko’s pushed up against your much smaller frame, one arm being used to prop his head up as he pays close attention to the tv, while the other arm is occupied by you, his hand absentmindedly tracing lazy circles on your thigh.

every now and then, you sneak occasional glances at him, watching the way his expression changes throughout each scene that plays, and so far, you’ve been able to do it each time unnoticed.

just as you’re about to steal another glance, his eyes meet yours. he’s looking directly at you, and you freeze. you’ve been caught.

“something wrong? you’re staring…” he questions, his brows furrowing slightly.

before speaking up, you notice the change in his demeanour. valko often tends to be very expressive, and because of this, you always seem to know exactly what he’s thinking.

you sit up and grab his face. “you make the weirdest faces when you watch movies.” you giggle, pinching his cheeks.

“i do?” he raises a brow and huffs to himself, acting all bothered, but he’s not. of course he’s not. nothing you do could ever bother him.

“yes, you do. your face gives everything away, it makes you easy to read.” you tease, moving a hand to pinch his nose, but before you could, he swiftly wraps his muscular arms around you, trapping you impossibly closer to him as he nuzzles his face into the crook of your neck like a needy puppy.

suddenly, he nips at your neck, leaving behind a sharp sting as he pulls away.

“ow! valko—“

his playful expression softens, and for a brief moment, uncertainty flashes across his face. something more vulnerable. “does it bother you?” he interrupts, lifting his head up to look at you. he gently places his fingers below your chin, lifting it and forcing you to look directly at him.

“no… it doesn’t.” you mumble, his question not clicking.

he moves his fingers from your chin to a strand of hair laid against your forehead. he twirls the strand around his finger for a short while, then tucks it behind your ear. “so, you wouldn’t mind if i carried on? if i showed you just how i feel?”

he stares at you with those puppy eyes he usually uses when he wants something from you, while you, on the other hand, give him a disoriented look. completely oblivious to the real meaning behind his suggestion, you nod and agree.

without a second thought, once given the green light, he effortlessly flips you over. his muscular build now caging you beneath him. you gasp at the sudden movement, but you’re quick to be silenced when valko desperately leans down and presses his lips against yours.

you instinctively shut your eyes and kiss him back, attempting to match his rhythm, but it’s no use. he’s rough, needy, sloppy even. he kisses you with such harshness that you’re having trouble catching your breath. yet, you seem to love it.

he subconsciously grinds against you, your pyjama shorts riding up in response, and you begin to notice the evident bulge growing within his sweats, demanding for more.

“i’ll show you just how ‘expressive’ i can be…”

and the next thing you know, the movie has ended.
