Ugh the antis are pmo to no end. Katara never warned Aang about Tagah, y’all are just saying shit atp that didn’t even happen. Katara was suspicious of Tagah, but she didn’t bring that up to Aang. She waited until Aang left to stand on business. And no one BUT Katara clocked Tagah, because Katara was the only one that had dealt with this same scenario with Hama as a kid. Katara deliberately suggested Tagah stay behind with her and the gaang while Aang left precisely because she was planning to confront him and didn’t want Aang to be there when she did, probably because she knew it might get ugly and didn’t want to upset him due to the nature of Aang and Tagah’s connection.

Aang only suggested he stay with the group after Katara did so. He was pretty much just affirming what she wanted by doubling down. Why are y’all blaming Aang for what happened when you should be, idk, blaming Tagah for what he did and for manipulating and taking advantage of Aang? I don’t see any of you blaming Katara for being used and manipulated by Hama, or for nearly getting Sokka and Aang killed because she was manipulated. But when it’s Aang, suddenly he has to be this Mary Sue level of perfect character 24/7 😒

Some people are calling out the double standard, while others... well, it’s rather unsettling; it’s hard to tell if they’re actually making a point about the double standard, or if they’re simply taking revenge on Korra’s haters by relentlessly bashing Aang and dragging his name through the mud.
