Fight like a Girl

“You totally should! Personally, I think you’d look great. But just to be sure, you can start off by trying on a wig and seeing how you look.” She suggested. 

“Hmm I might do that or just get a few tracks in for flare. I don’t know me and wigs just don’t usually agree with my active lifestyle.” She giggled. 

“ I KINDA liked green lantern, though? given, i grew up on the comics, and actually got to meet the dude who created them. pretty neat stuff. ”

“ FORTUNATELY, IT’S not about me this time. it’s about my brother. but if i’m going to be candid, i saw that coming. we Mallorys aren’t meant for full time commitment, and i wonder how my dad keeps up with his second wife. ”

“Well, at least you’re honest about it. I wouldn’t know if I’ve got anything in common in that regard with my family or not, but we’re all stubborn if that counts?”

“You would look amazing!” Riya agreed, nodding as she grinned back at her. “Like Rihanna in What’s My Name and California King Bed….”

“Heck now I might just do it for the fun of it.” She grinned. She liked the idea of trying something new and daring. She wasn’t usually daring in the fashion world, but why not give it a go?

“ NOW ANTI-HEROES, i can get behind. those are some of the best comic characters ever. like deadpool himself. or some of the other ones or something. ”

“ I DON’T LIKE looking like i’ve been punched in the balls by the tabloid, you know what i mean? don’t wanna wake up one morning to something so silly that it makes me want to strangle someone. ”

“Pff no one does. Yah, yah I know what you mean.” She smiled, “ So what was the latest silly picture they took of you anyways?”

“Yah I mean I think so too, but I didn’t want everyone saying storm just because that’s the only black superhero they know, you know? Oh my goodness that’d be a dream role! Stephanie would definitely be fun to play. Both her batgirl role, and that short period she was a robin.” She grinned, “ Oh no I’m a geek right along side yah.” She laughed.
