Health and Fitness Inspiration!

Holy crap the bruises! The intermediate BJJ class was intense! I loved it! There's a lot more rolling in that class, less drilling, so it's a whole different experience and a lot more physical. I'm glad I went because I'd been a bit nervous about rolling with the 'big kids'! As usual everyone was super nice and I had nothing to worry about. The handstand workshop was AWESOME. She took me through the steps I need to build up the strength and confidence to be able to do a handstand, and how to do them properly (i.e. the proper shape). She's a gymnast so she knows her shit. She taught us how to do press handstands, walking handstands, pirouette handstands, one-handed handstands, and the proper way to enter and leave the handstand.

This arvo I have a handstand workshop at the pole studio for 1.5hrs, then straight off to BJJ for 1.5hrs (it will be my first non-beginner class!), and then I'll head home, wash off the sweat, and have dinner at my bro's. Pretty happy about today's lineup! I'm super excited about the handstand workshop because I've never been able to do one before!
