The peacock butterfly (Aglais io/Inachis io), is a colourful butterfly, found in Europe and temperate Asia as far east as Japan Aglais io is the widely accepted scientific classification today, while Inachis io is a former, now-defunct genus name that remained common in older literature

During the Viking Age, it was not uncommon to bury silver hoards. There are many examples from the Danish region. What makes this find unusual is that it consists of high-quality silver fittings from the Frankish Empire—such objects have never before been found in such a high concentration anywhere in Europe! Some of the fittings belonged to a prestigious sword belt.
