“    have  you  ever  heard  of      𝒕𝒉𝒆  𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍  𝒈𝒊𝒓𝒍?      the  main  character  who  is  a  woman.  the  one  that  is  first  a  victim  and  ultimately ,      𝒂  𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒗𝒐𝒓     who  fights  back.  the  slasher  film  celebrates  the  female  characters ,  the  final  girls.  the  ones  who  survive.  the  truth  of  the  matter  is  this––––  the  women  are  the  ones  only  ones  who  are  smart.  think  about  it;  women  are  smarter  than  men.  they’re  savvier ,  have  a  clearer  head  when  fight  or  flight  kicks  in ,  live  in  a  world  where  they  constantly  have  to  be  hyper–aware  of  their  surroundings  and  what’s  going  on.      𝒘𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏  𝒂𝒓𝒆  𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒓   in  instinct  and  just  about  every  other  way.  that’s  why  it’s  the  sex–crazed  guys  bringing  their  girlfriends  to  these  unsafe  places––––  under  the  guise  they’ll  somehow  protect  them  like  the  ‘machos’  they  are ,  just  to  have  sex––––  that  get  slaughtered.  but  not  the  final  girl.      𝒔𝒉𝒆  𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔  𝒇𝒐𝒓  𝒕𝒉𝒆  𝒔𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒍.    ”

maybe we shouldn’t meet.dir. drew goddard.      morgan has been single for 6 months, and decides that there wouldn’t be any harm in trying out the dating apps her friends have told her so much about. soon after it’s downloaded, morgan starts talking to matt, a charismatic and charming doctor who’s profile seems too good to be true. after a strange and uncomfortable message from matt, morgan decides that the app isn’t really for her. she cancels their plans to meet, and deletes the app. one week after they stop talking, she begins to receive flowers and gifts with ominous messages, all unsigned. then come the phone calls and texts, before morgan begins to see matt everywhere- she realizes that he intends to get her back, alive or dead. now the only thing she can do is survive. why does dating have to be so hard?@notvictim​.
