So I’m in love with this new body. Since I finally got to test it out at the track today. Usually I take 600+ photos and I can only use like 20 but I’m going to end up with a whole lot more this time. Last time took me a whole day to fill up a SD card.. This time it only took 2 hours... Story time: Imagine cruising to your go to spot where you take shitty sunset photos but still go to free your mind. One eye peeled on the sky as you’re watching some dark clouds starting to roll in. Many photos you could achieve flipping through your head. Would lighting be on its way? Could you possibly have a chance to hit a shot like @desidrewphotography ? Would it start down pouring so hard that you won’t even want to get out of your car and risk getting your camera wet? You start coming back to reality after the realization you’re going over the speed limit and slightly look like a drunk driver.. Quick stop, to pick up someone up. You’re not use to letting someone (Okay, well not just someone. This isn’t the ordinary person, it’s someone special(this is a different story for another time)) in when you take photos, nobody really wants to. It feels different, no time to overthink that thought now. Back on the road, this time you’re not overthinking the photos as much, just going with the flow, the hardest thing for you to do. Something catches your eye. You do a double take, because it’s been a long time since you have seen such a beautiful double rainbow. Immediately, thoughts sart running. Possibilities, endless. So many different locations. Do you pull over? It’s not a wide enough angle. You’re quickly shifting between spots you could go, running out of a time. You change your destination and starting driving like a mad man again. You can’t miss this shot and you’d be damned if this traffic was going to get in your way. You’ve got a couple more miles to go. You’re praying it hasn’t disappeared yet. Just one more minute away and it starts sprinkling like it’s on the verge of down pouring, but at this second. You don’t give a shit. You finally arrive, you take a glance to check the sky to see. “Fuck”, it’s almost on the verge of vanishing. But you still think you can get something out of it. Quickly, grabbing your gear and setting up. You feel the rain drops hitting your hands and face, while the cold hearted wind is chilling your bones. This weekend was crazy. I had a lot of fun meeting some new people, and cruising with the crew down 28th. I did do a couple “photoshoots” this weekend and tried something new with a night shoot. I have a lot of cool photos of improvement to post. I possibly have a couple shoots this week but other than that I will just be posting a lot, and trying to edit.
