{11/100 days of productivity} Look who tried to invade the dining table for the whole day!! Couldn’t go to the library today due to bad muscle aches from sudden exercise )): hence the staycation at home today - currently working on history notes. Im realllyyy slow but having high hopes that my seeds will yield fruits 😁

27 days to MT olevels, 170 days to olevel season || it has been non-stop biology, math, and civil war fangirling for the past two days, and i don’t want to go back to school after this 4-day-long weekend o(TヘTo) excuse the crappy cursive header though

While A level results predominantly depend on the actual exam itself, IB is more “wholistic”, and encompasses internal components for each subject which account for 20% - 50% ; practicals and investigations for the sciences; oral and written components for languages, and commentaries for the humanities etc etc etc. Not to mention there are the two components: TOK and EE (aka hell on earth) which require students to write A LOT. Internal assessments aside, the IB syllabus is definitely a lot simpler than that of A levels, and the marking is slightly more lenient. The IB also gives more leeway in terms of what subjects you want to take (french, Malay, Japanese ab initio, art, lit and performance etc. which typically don’t require background knowledge). Both As and IB have their pros and cons but i would highly suggest only taking IB if you are a consistent worker :-)

I’ve finally gotten back to journaling - it’s never too late to start the week right?? :) if you noticed i added my “sketch” & honestly it looks pretty damn good on my journal?? 😅 i have a lot to do & at the same time im drained but if i want to get somewhere ill have to keep going!! I have literally been spending more time in the library than at home because it truly feels like a second home to me 💕😌 you should always find a study area where you don’t have any distractions or worries , happy studying!
