something i still think about after like three years is that someone on twitter said that 2003 Leo would HATE Rise Leo. which is a fascinating take to me. do i personally disagree with that? yeah. i think if they met there would be a lot of complicated feelings on both ends, it probably wouldn't be sunshine and rainbows right off the bat, but i dont think any hate for the other would be intense enough to make itself known.

the only scenario i can think of where there would be some hatred is if you stuck post-Exodus/early s4 03 Leo with pre-movie Rise Leo together on a stressful, high stakes mission. watch as rise manages to push every one of 03's buttons and gets drop kicked to New Jersey within the first ten minutes of meeting

ALSO. i think 03 Leo would find rise Leo's puns HILARIOUS. the Mad Dogs are aghast when one of Leo's abysmal one liners makes the alt dimension's cool responsible leader lose his shit.

you cant possibly believe that the same turtle who said "you guys look tired... HAVE A SEAT!!" and threw chairs at enemies during a fight would be able to genuinely dislike the punny one liner guy. you are insane

ninja dropout really is such a good clapback from 2k3 leo in response to raph calling him teacher's pet i just want to appreciate it for a moment. he's like okay maybe IM splinter junior but YOU'RE a failure. obviously not as dramatic as actually calling raph a failure but he very succinctly parried raph's intial insult with a way more cutting one. i love it when leo has teeth

does anyone know why the 2003 series decided halfway through the series that they were going to make the turtle tots horrible and buck toothed.

whose idea was this. they make me irrationally angry. i dont care if they're being depicted as younger than in the earlier flashbacks. what are those things.

"Auggie, there was an artstyle change" IM WELL AWARE. but if i remember correctly they shifted to the bug eyed freak show babies in like season 4 or something.

i respect Splinter so much for raising the four ugliest children in the galaxy. they are truly dreadful and i like to pretend they never did this

as much as i still really like how this piece came out i have to admit that a lot of the vibes from the sketch got lost in translation, mostly with fugo.
