You do everything in your power. That test will come and go, and its your time to grow.

Diuretics are cool when it comes to how they work in the body. There are 5 classes and this is where they work in the nephron.

When talking about diuretics, it’s best to know how the loop of Henley works with the rest of the nephron. Here is a little over view for you. 

Articulations: spots or places on the body which cause a bend from the mid-line of the body. Most articulations are called by their location and not the actual name of the joint. Fun fact: the more mobile a joint, the less stable it is. That’s why the shoulder and the hip are dislocated most often.

Most people think that one wrong move in their clinical, or one wrong answer in class or one failed test in clinical determines how their career will go and they think that it determines how good of a nurse they’ll be. Nurses are people, they still make mistakes, but its what you do and learn from it that makes you a good nurse. Don’t ever feel like you aren’t a good nurse, because you are with your patients for a reason, you bring something that no other nurse they’ve had will bring and no one after you will bring either. A bath a laugh or a smiling face go a thousand miles for the patient who can’t take a step.

Cranial Nerves look scary.....unless you know what they do and how to assess them. Learn their function and where they are then you’ll know how to assess them. Example: You know CN1 is Olfactory, you assess it by having your patient close their eyes and smell something and ask them to describe it. I use to make my patients smell an orange.
