[ It sounded like the girl was weak. Sick. Deeply afraid. ]
[ Covered in something wet. Thick. Ichor? ]
[ She managed to gasp in a breath of air, letting out a distressed, gurgling yelp significantly louder than the other sounds she made, only for her to be muffled once more. ]
[Juniper is confused, before making their way towards the noise. Were they supposed to be here? Probably not! But it seemed like there was a child in danger and they couldn’t let that slide!]
“Hello..?”
[They gasp before rushing to the small toon, panicking a bit as they try to get some of the ichor off of her]
“Uhm- oh gosh- are you okay?? You’re very- uh- I don’t have anything to get the ichor off of you..”
[..their hand is working to get some of it off, at least]
[ It seemed like Juniper wasn't the first to arrive at the girl's aid, as Trick @gardenview-engineer was right next to her. ]
[ Her eye lit up in recognition, though still looking a bit shaken up, when she saw the lime, giving them a friendly wave. ]

“Oh! Hey, Juni!”
Trick grins as his kid mentee enters his view, giving them a little wave.
“Memory, y’know Juniper, yeah? Juni, this is Memory- she’s new ‘round here, as y’can probably tell.”

A certain canine Toon’s ears prick up at the sound of gurgles and gags. He takes one last sip from a mug of coffee, giving it a mournful look before shaking his head and setting it aside.
“Kid? Where are ya?”
He sniffs the air, following the scent until he comes across the camera Toon. He kneels down to get a better look, a concerned expression on his face. His nose scrunches up as the sharp scent of Ichor wafts into his nose, but he shakes it off- it isn’t important, not when there’s a kid to worry about.
“Hey, kiddo- y’okay? Sorry, stupid question- here-”
He rifles through his toolbelt, pulling out a fluffy, slightly grease-stained towel and beginning to wipe away the thickest clumps of Ichor from the smaller Toon’s body.
“Hey, hey, it’s all gonna be fine. I’ve got ya.”
[ She let out a gasp at the sight of him, trying not to move too much in sudden excitement. ]
You're--you're Trick! I can't believe it! Am I dreaming?--
[ She coughed a few more times before managing to speak again. ]
I really am at Gardenview..! I--you're--thank you...
"The one n' only!"
Once the worst of the Ichor is cleaned off, Trick slips the towel back into his belt.
"Uh- yeah, 'f course y'are! Where else would ya be, Narnia? Heh- an' hey, no problem! Any self-respectin' Toon would do the same, I'm sure!"
The coyote extends a paw, moving to help the younger Toon up to her feet with a grin on his face.
"Say, what's your name? Y'don't look too familiar...you new 'round here?"
[ She let out a nervous laugh. ]
I guess you could say I'm new...I mean, I've never been here before!
My name's Memory! I'm so happy to meet you..!
Gosh, I've always wanted to meet the Toons in person..!!
"It's nice t'meetcha, Memory! Name's Trick, but you already knew that-"
Trick's ears twitch for a second, a brief look of confusion crossing his face.
"...'Always wanted', as in...since you formed, or..? Y'talk as if..."
Trick's a smart Toon- he's a scientist, after all! And in science, the first step to proving something is always to form a hypothesis...
As in "for my entire life!" Duh!
Why does everybody keep saying "formed?" That's such a weird word to use...
He wasn't even supposed to hear that and...maybe I should stop talking out loud.
And of course I knew! I'm a huuuge fan. You look even softer and fluffier in person! I didn't think it was even possible! Do you mind being pet?
"Heh- yeah, y'probably should. Plenty o' Toons got great hearin', y'know. And- why wouldn't we? 'Formed' is the right term, ain't it? Since...y'know, we Toons ain't born like humans are? 'Cept for Gourdy...maybe...he had parents in the show, I think..? Sorry, I'm gettin' sidetracked again-"
Trick chuckles, a bright smile replacing his earlier look of confusion.
"I don't mind one bit! Just...as long as y'don't touch my tail. Way too many people seem to find it fun to pull on it...jerks.."
Ouch!
Don't worry about me doing that! My dog hated having his tail tugged, too, and that just sounds like it hurts a lot...
[ She reached up, petting him on the head with a HUGE smile. Her eye seemed to light up at the contact. She looked about to squeal, but she managed to hold back her excitement. ]
[ She seemed to suddenly stop for a brief moment, though, holding her hand in place to look at it, but with a barely visible shake of her head, she continued the petting, a slightly more anxious look in her eye. ]

Actually, nevermind. It's not that important.
"Oh, it does."
Speaking of tails, his is wagging now! Trick may not be a dog, per se, but he's certainly got plenty of the traits of one...
"...Y'sure? You look a bit...never mind. So, how'd ya get all..?"
He gestures down at her, specifically at the bits of Ichor still staining her body.
So, about that...I have no idea! I kinda just woke up, and the first thing I knew, I was...yeah...
It's almost like I teleported, 'cause last I remember, I was in bed...
"...Huh. Weird. In bed...somewhere else? As in- somewhere not in Gardenview?"
More evidence to his theory...is this how Rodger feels? Must be..
Yeah, I was at home. It's really far away from Gardenview, so I don't know how I got here at all...
"And...I'm assumin' ya looked different there, too? A bit more...human?"
It...sounds impossible, but...all the evidence points towards it. Trick is a Toon of science, and he's never been one to dismiss the seemingly-impossible.
[ Another anxious laugh slipped out at his words. She fidgeted with the collar of her dress. ]
Yeah, um...I'm not s'posed to look like...well, whatever I look like right now..! I...haven't been able to get a look at myself yet.
I don't really know how any of this happened...
Trick once again starts to rifle through the contents of his toolbelt, this time pulling out a handheld mirror and handing it to Memory.
“…Y’were just sleepin’? Do ya…remember anything strange happenin’ before that?”
[ She blinked a few times upon looking into her reflection - with her eye being the lens, a shutter had taken the place of her eyelid, making her blink in an abnormal way - but, oddly enough, she seemed to recognize something about the Toon in the reflection. ]
...Woah.
[ She looked between Trick and the mirror as she spoke, seemingly unable to decide what to look at...or how to react at all. ]
Yeah, um--no, not really. Last I remember, I was just watching the show...or maybe..?

Yeah, I was at home. It's really far away from Gardenview, so I don't know how I got here at all...

It...sounds impossible, but...all the evidence points towards it. Trick is a Toon of science, and he's never been one to dismiss the seemingly-impossible.
[ Another anxious laugh slipped out at his words. She fidgeted with the collar of her dress. ]
