The world had fallen in to ruin. Humans were no longer the dominant species, or so it seemed when he left the tower and took to the streets. It looked like a bomb had gone off, the tower was still standing, but the zombieâs had gotten in, and it suddenly felt like a bit of a rat trap.
Lucius was pretty much in his element, okay, maybe not the zombie part, he wasnât much for being bitten and ruining his perfect appearance, but definitely the blood. It seemed to be everywhere and he loved it, even the feel of it drying on his skin, tugging at it when he moved.
When he saw someone he recognised, or barely, considering the blood soaking in to the nurse, Lucius rose his eyebrows and glanced to the hoard in his path. In Lucâs opinion, he was a dead man, but then, that wasnât the first time heâd thought that today. âSomeone looks a little worn.â he said as he walked up to the other man, keeping his voice low and his machete at his side.
The familiar voice had Liam tilting his head back, looking up at Lucius. He was pretty sure his call for mental help had gone wrong if heâd managed to get Lucius rather than anyone else, maybe the universe really did want him to die here. That was a fucking shame, considering all the things heâd survived before this.Â
âAre you taking your sadism to a new level in just watching people get eaten by zombies? Thatâs a little sick even for youâ Liam tried his best to keep his voice level, but the pain in his ankle added a little hiss of pain to his breath. âI fractured something, didnât get the chance to wrap it before these creepers showed up. Havenât been bittenâ He explained a little less insultingly, âWhat do you want for getting me out of here?â
