Fangs and a Stethoscope

“Consider this a continued celebration of my successful proposal to Ori, I’m in a good mood.” 

“That is good to hear. You are always easier to work with when you’re in a good mood.”

“No.” Riley shook his head with a slight smile. “Just watching. You have good form.”

“Thank you.” She offered him a smile in return and extended her hand. “My name is Isabel, but you can call me Isa.”

“I wasn’t really-” Stopping in the middle of her sentence as soon as she laid eyes on the dogs Phobe bolted to get down on her knees and pet the dogs. “Hello. Hello. Hello.” She told each dog as she petted them. “I like dogs.” 

The dogs offered licks to other woman and Isabel looked down at Phobe and her dogs with their wagging tails. “I do too, obviously.” She could tell the other woman was a werewolf. She wondered if that made her feel more of a connection with dogs. She knew that it varied depending on the werewolf.

It wasn’t often that Phobe was all smiles but, this afternoon she was. In fact, she felt great for the first time in a long time. Her head lifted to look at the other when she heard another person walking up to her. “What?” She asked as she did her best to wipe the smile off of her face as quick as she could. 

“Don’t stop your fun because I simply showed up.” Isabel replied with a shrug as she was enjoying a walk around the town with her four dogs. It was funny to watch Akela try to lead the pack.

Marcus had figured out that he didn’t do too well when Ori was out of town, something about a connection, but he wasn’t going to dwell on that tonight. “All the drinks are on me!”

“Someone is feeling generous.” She teased her coworker as she took a sip of her own drink.

A watery smile made it’s way to her lips as she slowly nodded.  “I…don’t know how I could ever be scared of vampires.  You’re amazing Isabel.  Truly.”  Danica’s gaze fell to the floor as shame filled her.  “Is there anything I can do to repay this?”

Isabel shook her head. “There is nothing that you need to do, Danica. We all have our rough patches. It is nothing that you need to repay me for.”

“Lucky for you I have one right here.” Honey grinned as she slid the glass over in between her and Isa, arching her brow as she nodded down towards the straw that she never used anyways. “But I will have to hear what has you so speechless because I need a good laugh tonight. What did they say?”

“Thanks.” Isabel took the drink and threw it back quickly. She couldn’t really get drunk, but at least it was a start. “I’d drag my balls through a mile of broken glass, followed by a mile of hot coals, just to chase a laundry truck that MIGHT have your dirty underwear on.” She replied. “So yeah, really creepy.”

He felt all of his muscles relax for a moment as her tongue grazed his lip, beore he tensed his fingers around her hips. “All out will be just fine.” He lowered her onto the floor. The office had never seen anything like this. Items fell off the desk, and undoubtedly sounds could be heard in the bar room. Ayden didn’t care much at the moment. He was having fun for the first time in a long time. 

It was one of the most fun times that Isabel had in a very long time. She loved pushing any creature to its limits. When they were done, she kissed up his neck and two his lips. She was more gentle than she had been the entire night. “Twice in one night... I must say that you sure know how to treat a woman.” She chuckled softly as her deep brown eyes looked into his.

Now... This was a rather difficult question. 

Fuck: Ayden. He can definitely be my mistress in this situation. He is certainly a good time. I think he might even get a kick out of being the other guy.

Marry: Bren. A vampiric cutie in his own right. He tries to push my buttons enough to be my husband, so who knows. Maybe we secretly have shared our wedding vows and have been married for some time. Wouldn’t that be a fun secret?

Kiss: Alec. I know that he has strong feelings for the werewolf and I am not about to get some pup’s feelings hurt. 

I think I need you to specify a bit further. If this is asking why I had sex with him, then he is clearly attractive. Not to mention, he’s pretty good in bed. Why not?

“I think this is more of a show than a tell kind of moment, don’t you?” He moved into the space between her hanging legs. and leaned in toward her. He teased, almost touching his lips to hers but instead moved to the side, whispering in her ear, “and I’ll be needing my shirt back.” His hands glided up her thighs, past her hips, over her waist and grabbed onto the shirt as they rose up her soft curves. He noticed that the door was still slightly ajar, and grabbed a book from the desk, throwing it hard in that direction. The door slammed as he pulled off the shirt, picked her up and sat on the couch with her on top of him. “Now…teach me.”

“Oh is it now?” She asked as she found herself wrapping her legs around his waist. Isabel’s teeth lightly grazed her lower lip as he whispered in her ear. She loved the closeness of intimate moments like this. It sent shivers down her spine. Isa chuckled softly at the book shutting the door. The vampire felt even more excited as he picked her up. Isabel leaned in as though she was going to kiss him before licking his upper lip teasingly. “Of course, dear. Question is... Do you want me to go all out? Vampire speed can be a blessing and a curse.” The brunette winked before she locked her lips with his making the demon well aware that she was going to push him further than she had the first time. She had to admit she was curious how far she could go with the demon. 

As she stood, he felt a touch of doubt. He didn’t actually want this woman to leave. However, that went against everything he’s worked for. All his time in the pits of hell had taught him that he needed to avoid this kind of connection. At the same time though, lust was a sin. Perpetuating such a thing would only strengthen his favor. As long as he didn’t allow it any further. “Stop,” he said, grabbing her arm and slowly turning her to him. “There’s still so much time in the day. Stay a while. I feel like I still have so much to learn about your previous profession. I’d like to see  your…professionalism in action.” His hands drifted over her, grip tightening on key spots on her body. He made sure to pull her into him, the fire burning once again in his eyes as he looked her over. 

One of her eyebrows perked up when he grabbed her arm and told her to stop. A smirk resting on her lips as he turned her towards him. So he did want her to stick around. “So much to learn, huh?” Her arms wrapped around his neck as she allowed her body to press against his. “Would that be about when I was a nun or a nurse for wars?” Isabel teased in a whisper against his lips though she felt that she knew what he actually was referring too and the answer would be neither. The vampire growing excited at seeing the fire in his eyes once more. She almost forgot that they were in the same room where he had just murdered someone. She turned him with her as she sat up upon his desk. Her legs hanging off the edge and her arms still around Ayden. “Seeing as you mentioned wanting to know more about my profession, is it my turn to answer your questions? What would I get out of that?”

Xian smiled, she didn’t care that she was 50 years old, she enjoyed having fun, even if it meant looking like a 30 year old. The thought made her smile, “Isa, you look great!” She said, her smile getting wide. “That dress looks amazing on you!” She picked up a dress of her own, one that was a lavender purple. “Do I look like the age that I feel?” She asked, a joking smile on her face.
