See, when people say "hazelnut spread", nobody bats an eye, but when *I* say "nut spread"
In my first semester of college, I went to peer review someone else's essay in a writing class and it was so clearly written by AI that my "peer review" was a callout reply amounting to "I can't peer review this because my peer didn't write it".
The way our assignments worked is that we would comment on a post the professor made with our piece and when peer review comes around, you reply to someone else's piece. This was visible to everyone. I called him out in a way that everyone could see, including the professor.
I never saw him post in that class again. I think he got kicked out.
bacon in my sgetties :3
I just typed the most stream of conscience bullshit into the general-ish out-of-character chat of a small roleplay Discord server I have with my friends and I lowkey think this is Tumblr worthy.
Oh btw I wanted to mention this but the NQN thing distracted me I'm just good at analysis tbh It's why I like playing Sine because he's all analysis it's in character for him to think about things pretty hard but not just overthinking, thinking hard efficiently anyways Nowadays, I like to play into the Psychic/Fairy typing of Avia irl I am very good at emotional analysis Sometimes I miss my mark But a key thing with analysis of people and how they react to things is by… pretending to know what they think by following some logic, then if that's wrong, correcting that. Think of it like a game with a bunch of endings with different paths, each separated by different dialogue Once you know which dialogue choices lead to which paths, you can take those again if you notice a specific kind of dialogue choice leads to a specific kind of outcome, you can know that x = y If x doesn't equal y, then maybe it equals z, and if that's true, then you know now that x = z from then on. Let's apply this to something keysmashes often times, if you are trying to be flirty or generally affectionate, if you get a specific response, you'll know that they like that specific action that caused it With stuff like that, figuring out if the things do connect can be done really well by asking someone by telling them something as if it were a question I'll say "so it's like" and then restate what they said in a way that's different which sounds really simple, and when I explain it to myself like that, it tricks me too but it's not, because to restate it in a way that's different means to actually understand it conceptually, and it's obvious if you just repeat it but shift the beats around maybe this connects, or maybe it doesn't, but a friend that [friend 1] and [friend 2] know well ([friend 3] knows em too but [friend 1], [friend 2], and I know them far better) had been trying to explain that they felt like "the acid tunnel of love" and so I basically described that entire scene in a way that remixes it into a poetic description of how one could feel going through a life where that scene would be a perfect metaphor and I phrased it by saying "so what you're saying is you feel like" and described one's life as floating on a thin path (like the room from the game) with little control (a split path but they both end up going to the same area with just a difference in dialogue) and the water's dangerous (literally acid) but you can't get off the ride (you are forced to ride it, and even the small bits of land are functionally walls, not platforms) and so all you can do is wait for it to end (reach the end of the scene to begin progressing forward with the rest of the game) I'm not saying anything new, per se, I'm just saying what they're trying to tell me back at them and that's the current point telling someone what they're trying to say is a powerful skill because if you're wrong in what you say, that this isn't what they're trying to say to you, then you can let them give you more details maybe, in saying it wrong, you do a sort of "it knows where it is because it knows where it isn't" sorta thing they know what you said is inaccurate, so they know that, if they were to try to explain it to you, that saying back to you would be incorrect and after enough time, you start to get a feel for what are the right details to pick out to repeat their yet-spoken words back to them in a way that makes them feel understood, because they are And this might sound creepy, like it's something I actively do but it's really not It's like how your brain does calculate all the math behind throwing a baseball but it doesn't do the numbers exactly. It just feels for the right arm movements and body positions and leg thrusts based on years of experience trying to throw it in just the right way that took practice It's a skill that anyone could learn, but you have to genuinely want to learn it deep down at a subconcious level
because the best practice is the practice that doesn't feel like practice, but the practice that feels like experiencing life as it goes rather than anticipating for that exam because when you stress about the exam, you feel like the practice isn't practice, but is actually busy work that doesn't matter you feel like getting the exam questions right are all that matter you know the answers, but you don't understand why those answers are right, just that they are because the practice didn't matter, it was just knowledge that means words and not experiences when the practice is subconscious, when you stop seeing the practice as practice for something in the future and go into it with the mindset that you are just learning to learn, not to amount to anything you start to realize that you've already learned so much that it DID amount to something something that you wanted deep down whether that be to learn a language or to be the best at a video game or, in my case, to understand the world on a deeper emotional level, I guess So when I apply these pieces of knowledge to daily conversation, I can thank the analysis I did the whole time the random bits of bullshit that I've added to the neurons flowing through my brain and found satisfaction that it got to be used for the second time and for the first actually useful time and for the second actually useful time and so on … GAH DAMN I GOT PHILOSOPHICAL ALL OF A SUDDEN Bro I was in a FLOW STATE typing that shit that shit came from the HEART

Go to the store and buy the bottled Chick-Fil-A sauce, as they sell that shit. Then, go to Wing Stop and get some boneless chicken bites with the Hawaiian sauce on them. Then, dip the Hawaiian chicken bites into the Chick-Fil-A sauce. Thank me later.
