marble women - a perfectly polished smile and ruthless ambition. seemingly coarse and untouchable — a geode’s facade. has turned her ribcage into a casket for her glass heart. never warm and sometimes merciless, but fiercely protective of the few she cares for. love in the form of a kiss to the corner of your lips poised but honest.

cloud women - soft hands that seem to be everywhere at once. on your shoulder, hip, thigh, chin, cheeks. she is gentle and sweet, but frustratingly naïve. convinced that the world will be as kind to her as she is to it. her habit of taking care of strays draws you to her - it feels as though she can take the loneliness out of the lost. a pure love that fades too fast, slipping between your fingers like it’s made of air.

okay, so please forgive me. but i think we all need to talk about the ending of pm.

i’m actually so surprised at the fact that pixelberry is ending perfect match after just two books, when the royal romance dragged on for three books and the senior is .. well, the senior. it seems as though perfect match is such a winner amongst the fandom so i’m really confused.

this seems a bit dramatic but i’m honestly a bit heartbroken. i love some of the other books, don’t get me wrong, but perfect match is definitely what i look forward to every week.

i feel like the plot has so many holes that cannot be filled in such a short span. will sloane and khaan work out? will hamza get along well with sloane? what about steve and nadia? will they be okay? will hayden move on after i choose damien? will hayden do something for herself to give her existence more meaning? will damien tell mc he loves them? how is anyone going to properly romance alana if the book ends soon? what about eros? what if someone decides to go rogue after (if) eros is shut down? will damien be able to return to normal after the trauma he’s endured? will mc be able to live a proper, satisfying life? WILL STEVE CREATE A CAREER IN BAKED GOODS? will nadia be able to express her badass self? w h e r e i s d a m e s?

i have so many questions that pm won’t be able to answer in such a short period of time .. and if they’re all answered so quickly, it won’t make for quality chapters.

i feel as though pb has been so focused on pleasing the fandom and giving so many romance diamond scenes and focusing less on the actual plot that they’ve lost a lot of the key points we’re all desperately seeking answers for.

i dunno. this seems too deep but this is the ONLY book i’ve been truly invested in, emotionally.

and i guess we’ll just have to carry it on through fan fiction.

But if it is… it feels like they’re flipping Endless Summer all over again. As much as I love the series (which is an awful lot), book 3 was one big mess of unresolved plot lines, and then they tried (and failed, IMO) to wrap it all up in two chapters.
