This blog is a collaborative game and a work of fiction — (Possible trigger warning! Fictional animal experimentation. There is no gore, but you are technically mutating these animals as they grow. Think spore but morally grey.)
Nuevaluz. Also known as New Light, is a Mexican bio science company responsible for creating Serpens.
Serpens are a new species currently under observation, with the main facility located somewhere in the American states. Exact location, building, county, and state, are all classified and kept under wraps. With the code name for that area being; Location Bio Dragon.
Or, LBD for short.
You (yes, you, the viewer) are an LBD scientist. Take part in polls and votes to mutate, evolve, and take care of the Serpens here at LBD. The more you experiment, the more you learn!

How to ask for an NC Serpen;
1. Send in your ask requesting an nc Serpen.
2. List the four vials you want to give them *(must be vials you know the effects of)
3. Give me a base color for your Serpen, and a secondary color
(For example, 1.3(Tree)’s base color is pink. The color they started out as. As they gained certain mutations, those mutations were a different color. Their Secondary color. 1.3(Tree)’s secondary color is red)

Things to note;
This is a collaborative game on tumblr! Where you vote in polls to mutate and take care of little critters called Serpens.
Vials cause mutations
Serpen’s have four stages. Baby, adolescent/teen, adult, and elder.
When a Serpen goes through different experimentation and vials, an information sheet gets further filled out, and its behavior is documented for all of tumblr to see. When a Serpen dies, a new one is created. When all three Serpen’s from a previous batch reach adult hood, an entire new batch is made. Tumblr users can use their prior knowledge to help this new Serpen grow and change.
Each Serpen comes in batches of three. There are also in-between batches with just one Serpen, created when all the affects of a vial group are finally known
Serpen's must reach adolescences before the viewers are given the option in votes to skip it’s vial injection for that day
Serpen life cycle:
Serpen's start out in test tubes, then after the first vial injection is put into a pen. Similar to a play pen you'd put small children or a dog in.
After a while of growing and mutating they reach adolescence, and the viewers can choose what kind of environment/enclosure the Serpen then lives in.
After reaching adulthood the viewers can choose wether to continue experimenting on the Serpen (if the vial limit of five has not yet been met), or just let it chill. Either way it will eventually die of old age

Sorry for being inactive for so long folks! I wish I could say I’ve been working on stuff behind the scenes as I usually do, but unfortunately that’s not the case. I’ll still be working on this passion project of mine, don’t get me wrong!
But basically a few days ago I sprained my foot really badly, a limb I already get frequent chronic pain in that already made walking hard. And I still can’t put any amount of pressure on it without being in excruciating pain.
I will continue this once I’ve healed more! Until then, this whole Serpen collaborative game thing will be on pause

Look scientists! You guys decided which last vial to give to 1*2.1(Ur), and after getting the vial, Ur also grew up! Now we have four lovely adult Serpens!
Alright scientists! The vials have been given to our three new Serpens! You decided to give three to 2.3(Sapphire), two the same as the vial the others were given.
So now we know the affects of three vials! And we know what the Serpen’s second colors are!

It’s a big day today scientists! Say hello to our next three Serpens! And along with them, the introduction of a new vial group! The top scientists here at our lab have created a whole new set of vials; the Light-Colored Vials. Which should have all new kinds of affects and mutations onto our little buddies here!
