Brandi is connected through the party via Steve, as they used to run in the same circles. After he gives up his throne theyre still friendly, slight rebound situation post Nancy but never anything serious. They just both have shit going on and like the fact that neither feels the need to press on it. Cut to season three plot, shes introducing him to her current bf whilst also bullying his uniform. Said boyfriend is one of the many possessed to become the mind flayer. Establishes the point of her character, to show just how deeply someone can be affected by the upside down. Like not just the main group feels the loss.

More than just that, her mom would be a victim of the MK Ultra experiments. She wasnt pregnant during it, in fact the reason she was taken was because she checked herself into the hospital post partum for depression. She goes missing for over a year, then when she comes back its like her whole mind has been erased. Her dad sticks around to help for a bit but its either too much and he leaves or he investigates and gets got. Brandi lives off government subsidies(the shitty apology for ruining her life) and takes care of her mom on her own. Hence why later on she works as an EMT and gets into medical stuff, to better take care of her.

For the ults! I'm really leaning into Felix's whole thing as a closet nerd, so it'd be like. Glasses on, looking through papers, and then he throws them forward and is like 'On it, boss!' . The cutiest patootie if you will. As for Vein, itd be in his like...intro video color palette, sitting at a table, whee he chucks his knife and the camera pans over to the enemy, colorful explosion thats implied blood.

As for character stuff!

Vein: I was originally going to deadass just make him obsidian since they look so similar. But I dont want to mess with canon too much so instead hes running the underground trading network. Think like... that incident during the wardance where they had biological tissue in their weaponry. Hes a little sick and twisted. That being said he's very honest and upfront with his clients, earning him a good and personable reputation despite his....eccentrisities.

Felix: Still a broke college student trying to get by. He has passion for his field but its been broken down by the industry. Vein is the first person to value his work and intelligence, who encouraged him to do what he loved and make him truly happy doing it. He's frightingly loyal because of that. While it seems he's largely left in the dark to the true nature of Vein's work, he's def not as blind to it as he likes to pretend.

So! For ult animations, I already basically described Liu Xiao's. It would simply be a game of russain roulette, where he would spin the cylindr and shoot himself. Either confetti shoots out, or the screen goes to a black sillhouette on a white background, and the confetti is red, indicating he's been shot. As for Li Tianchen, it would show a spotlight on the enemy, Li tianchen would tell them all to get in their places for the show, where he would then slash them.

For individual character things:

Li Tianchen: In this things would be largely similar but when it comes to specifics not so much. His parents still kill eachother, his dad is still the worst, and the two are still taken in by Qian Jin. However, in this Qian Jin would ALSO be a member of the society, because that group lives for human rights violations. LiTianchen would, under his 'care', be carefully formed into a weapon, with genetic modification to match. He'd advocate for his sister to be left out of it all, doing everything he asks of him no matter how horrible just so she can be kept safe. Despite all this, the man still kills her in the end. He escaped and requested the help of an old friend to bring his sister back, but she can never truly be considered alive again.

Liu Xiao: While part of the same group, Liu Xiao and Qian Jin never saw eye to eye. Liu Xiao likes to take the power he has to seek revenge on those in power, using the resources granted to him to seek revenge against what he sees as wrong. While this typically finds him at odds with the IPC, it also, at times, finds him at odds with his own group, especially when his old friend comes back to him injured near death dragging a corpse along with him. He does whatever he can to save the boy's sister, and is more than happy to help him on his mission to annhilite the man responsible, no matter what it takes.

For their ultimate animations, Qiao Ling would have a 'shock back to life' scene. Uh oh we're losing him!-- Well lets make sure we lose him faster. As for Li Tianxi, like I described she'd throw her stuffed animal in the air, where it would grow in size behind the team to cover and protect them.

Qiao Ling: She works under Natasha under her father's wish, and while she does have a talent for it her bedside manner leaves something to be desired. They are required by oath to assist anyone who needs medical attention, but in the event that a more unsavory person requires saving, Natasha os sure to put the, under Qiao Ling's care. She'll put them under in the classical manner,,, blunt force trauma. Though she supports Cheng Xiaoshi in his endeavor to find out more on his past and what he is, she worries he'll get himself hurt and tries to be the voice of reason.

Li Tianxi: Technically, shes already dead. Perhaps undr different circumstances than in canon, but the same result nonetheless. Li Tianchen was sure to bring her back though, seeking out an old friend of his to save her. She wasn't lucky enough to be revived. This was the best they could do. She stayed with him for a while but he's so hellbent on getting revenge for her that its starting to scare her. For now she's stepped away. And maybe, she can find someone capable of bringing her brother back to her.

First off some minor stuff, with their ult animations. For CXS as I mentioned in the little blurb by the camera itd be the little transformation of the camera into a cannon, then just shooting that in someone's face. For LG I'm sticking with the biblically accurate theme and it being like a closeup of a bunch of extra eyes opening and then zooming out to him with his hand out like "Do Not Fear My Child" ahhh pose.

As far as the two of them both separately and together!!!

Cxs: He's spent almost his entire life underground. Separated from anyone like him and worse yet, the only long life species there. It hasn't fully struck him yet since he's still kinda young(barely young adult) but he's already watched how fast everyone around him ages and it fucks with him. To combat this he plays helper! Gotta use what hes got for the greater good!! And to uh. fill the Void(tm). He doesn't remember anything about his past lives and has no means to look into it, at least until he comes across a certain memokeeper.

Lg: His backstory would be a bit of a mystery, but since this isnt actually something I'm writing out...he already knows CXS. He acts as though he'll help on his endeavor as a memokeeper, not because he has any personal stake. He tries to just kinda stick by the book and focus on his job whilst the traveller is fucking around nearby and keeping everyone distracted, but CXS keeps hunting him down for some reason.
