friendship is actuallly about sharing the art that makes us feel something and then feeling something together

tumblr is such a unique experience in 2021 because it’s probably the only place on the internet, or in real life, really, where there is absolutely no point. there is no agenda, and no purpose, it’s just a place i can create this little bubble of art, and self-expression, and poetry, and live in it peacefully. scrolling through my blog and appreciating photography, fashion, literature, etc. just feels like a beautiful respite from everything outside of this website? no news no performance no productivity just pure vibes

Thinking about the countless times art and music and cinema and literature have saved and comforted me during difficult times i really owe my happiness to everyone dedicated to their craft

one of the only good things to come out of quarantine is watching everyone slowly but surely return to their old interests that they were forced to grow out of due to societal pressure and not being ashamed about them anymore
