by the way, i’m thinking back to an old drawing of ben (shepherd, of soundgarden: a man whom i was crazy about back in 2012-2015 and was one of the things that kept me from tying a noose around my neck) from 2014-ish, if i remember correctly. similar pose, similar method with the hazy cloudy look courtesy of the pencil, even similar age group (both men were born in 1968, with ben on september 20 and alex on september 29), except ben was much more intense from what i remember. i don’t have any idea what happened to that drawing: i don’t remember if it was packed or if the house of leaves took it under (when we moved last summer, if it wasn’t packed, it was destroyed by the mice).
