Dream Snake No. 5

Dream Snakes are cunning little friends who love to sleep near your pillow and snack on any bad dreams that might be coming your way. They use their feathered bodies to swim through the air at night, snapping up all those nasty nightmares.

This doll was made on commission, and is on the way to his new home. Fortunately for everyone else, there are still a couple of dolls in my shop looking for a place to call their own–check out the Etsy link at the bottom of this post to take a look!

Wool combs! Yes, I broke down, and got an adorable little nest of baby alpaca fur for my trouble. (And a frightening amount of wasted fiber, but you’ll just have to forgive me because I’m new at this. You’ll have to. I sure won’t forgive myself.)

This was followed by a ridiculously thin length of two-ply, which I proceeded to dunk in water without any attempt at tying off and turn into a very hopelessly tangled length of two-ply.
