So from then on whenever one of us called something problematic, he would make us talk it out until we could name the “bad” thing we were hinting at. In this particular class, 7/10 it was some type of oppression, and the remainder was like, “I’m uncomfortable because this is very new/confusing/pushing boundaries that made me feel safe.”

Once we stopped calling things “problematic” and stopping at that, class got way more interesting and... we all had to say, like, “that’s racist” or “that’s misogynistic” or “ew capitalism gross” out loud, which a lot of us had never done in a classroom before. Or we had to be like, “Uhhh... I’m not sure what’s so bad?” and confront our own beliefs and that was maybe even more useful.

Isnt that crazy?

My last post

First, lets start with a recap.

When I first joined, I was moving from... Quotev. Shudders. I was very into syscourse, something that I don't really give a shit about now. I wasn't who I am now, not at all. I have completely differing ideals and goals in life. So much changes over these two years, huh?

I've matured so much over this time. I feel like a completely new being.

I started watching JRWI in august (early September, maybe. It was before the school year had begun) of 2024.

This year, II.. well, not alot has changed. Hm. Yeah. Just kinda been riding the waves.

I am now dating my beautiful girlfriend, I suppose. Uhh. Yeah. Shit. Didn't really. do much this year.

I went to a new school and immediately failed math, I'm switching again, uh. Yeah. Boom. Crazy

I have also gotten more into crafting and art. I like to look back and view old works :)
