Kisses peppered Xylitol Novas face. Allulose Nova had broken one of his boundaries, and it upset him. But she hates apologizing so she opted for this instead.
Xylitol grumbles something. He was a sucker for affection, sure, but no sorry? Not a word of remorse? He knows actions speak louder than words but right now words wouldve done the most good. He can't tell if she's genuinely sorry, even if she's making him feel all mushy and warm. He wishes she would just set aside her pride for once.
"Mnn..hnn..." he whimpers, both from sadness and the growing warmth in his body. "Forgive me now?" She asks. He shakes his head "No. I won't. Not until you actually apologize. You can't fix everything with touch alone." He says. Allulose lets out a groan hearing this sentence. She didn't wanna do all that. "God you're so soft now why are you so hellbent on me apologizing?"
"Y-YOU SENT SOMEONE TO FIX ME KNOWING IM SELECTIVE ABOUT THAT!! I'M NOT SOFT BECAUSE OF THAT! IM UPSET AND SCARED AND-- Y-YOU'RE SO MEAN!!" He shouts, starting to sob. Allulose feels her breath stop. She forgot how,,,, painful it was to hear his cries. One of her deepest weaknesses was hearing the cries of her siblings. It did something to her. It felt like the witches were mutilating her body and eating her organs in front of her. It was the worst sounds. She hated them. Stop it. Stop it stop stop stop
"Stop crying, okay?!?!?! Im sorry!!" She shouts without realizing. She touched her throat. It felt weird, hard to breath. Xylitol licks her face. Only then does she realize she's crying to. This man. He always had the silliest ways of comforting people. But why? Why comfort her when she'd broken such a serious boundary?
His tongue wasn't efficient at catching her tears. It was sloppy, shaky, even. He was still crying, too. "Stop acting like a dog. Come, we shall cuddle in my bed. Much comfier than breaking your back trying to fit on this throne with me." She says. He nods, getting off her. She gets up and holds his hand. She didn't like the fact that he was still shaking. She squeezes his hand tightly before guiding him to her room.
She gently lays him on the bed, lest he breaks it with his bodyweight. She goes to the other side of the bed and sits on it. "Your cries are...agonizing. So stop it and never cry again, okay?" She says before finally laying down next to him. He presses his cheek against her before wrapping his arms and legs around her and burying his face in her neck. "Mn.. only if you promise to never do that again.." he mumbles. She sighs, mostly from the feeling of being crushed. "Fine fine I promise."
She assumes he's pleased now judging by the happy sounds coming from him. He could be cute sometimes. So cute she finds her eyes getting heavy. "Goodnight, sis." She faintly hears before being pulled into a sweet, sweet dream.
