When Rumi was a little older, Celine would always tell her to hold her tightly and never let go no matter what happens. I also like imagining Rumi’s claws subconsciously activating when she was younger, as to never let go of Celine. I’m also supportive of the headcanon that Rumi doesn’t remember it much, but Celine never tells her where the claw marks on her shoulder come from as to her, Rumi was just clinging on like she was supposed to in order to be safe.
