             [ 🍃 ] — ”I’m happy for you, Iruka… that you’re getting help for your ankles and trying to pick your life up." A tired smile was given to him before he began to walk away.

He knew he had withdrawn since the accident, but he wasn't very open before it too. He slowly sat himself down on the bench and looked down at his ankles--he was pushing himself again. He could feel that burn and he felt like he deserved it.

             [ 🍃 ] — ”Ah. That’s fine then." Touya fell quiet, shifting his gaze away from the smaller male. He actually wasn’t going to head home to dinner, but go to some fast-food restaurant and eat there… it was just habit to ask by now.

He slowly stuck his hands away again, bangs obscuring his face. They were getting long--he'd need to cut them soon, but for right now they were working. "...Sorry. I don't want your mom wasting money on extra food anyway...."

             [ 🍃 ] — ”I said if you wanted to. And that sounds good… I’m glad to hear that, Iruka. I really am." He gave Iruka a small smile, biting at the inside of his cheek slightly.

"...You always get upset if I say no. I know you're trying to--I suppose, include me or whatever, but I don't need to be. I'm fine."

             [ 🍃 ] — ”… Ah. That’s kind of vague though. Um, did you want to drop by for dinner tonight?”

"I'm doing a lot, okay? New braces, exercises--things that will help me in the long run...and if you want me to."

             [ 🍃 ] — ”You are?! Iru— how’s that going— do you feel better? What activities are you doing for it?" Help, the questions are spewing out.

Someone give him patience. "I feel fine, I guess. It's going fine and the activities are all different."

             [ 🍃 ] — ”Oh… well I guess time passes by fast if you’re doing stuff… has anything happened?”

"I was doing things to help my ankles--obviously out of town since you probably came looking for me."

             [ 🍃 ] — ”A few weeks is a while—" Then again he was sorta busy too. Kind of. Not really.

"It isn't...well, for me it wasn't." He shrugged and stuffed his hands back into his pockets.

             [ 🍃 ] — ”Iru!!" Cue a tight hug from the larger brunette— he hadn’t seen his best friend in forever and day.

"Iruka." He calmly corrected, giving him a brief hug back before shoving him away. "I wasn't gone that long."
