It was a rather clear winter's night, cold wind blowing through the empty, barely illuminated streets of East Harlem. Despite the icy temperatures Jason found his way out of the Hotel Dumort, his home, and into the darkness. It hadn't been much, if any, warmer inside anyway and he needed to get some fresh air, wanted to have some fun. The boy didn't have a particular destination in mind yet as he was making his way to the corner and he didn't get the chance to figure one out before he noticed someone else turning into the street. At first Jason wasn't all too concerned, only when he was close enough to make out a face he didn't recognize did he start to wonder. Frowning, he stopped in his tracks and addressed the stranger. "—Hey. Not sure if you know, but - This ain't exactly a place you want to be, especially not at that time."
