"they  put  you  in  the  jock  dorm?"  the thought is  echoed  out  as  soon  as  bear  opens  the  door  to  his  new  ...  habitat,  marijoy  sliding  past  them  as  if  he's  always  lived  there,  and  as  if  she's  done  this  a  thousand  times  before.  the  takeout  bag  in  her  hands  crinkles  as  she  fidgets  around  with  it  -  her  natural  instinct  to  stand  and  wait  for  bear  to  close  the  door  behind  her  overpowering  her  curious  want  to  explore  their  new  dormitory.  "i  mean,  like,  that's  fine,  obviously  -  there's  just  like,  a  bunch  of  vacant  rooms  in  cohen - chang  ever  since  that  like,  uber  intense  mono  outbreak  took  out  like,  at  least  three  of  the  floors  so  i  figured  they'd  like,  at  least  like,  upgrade  you  guys,  y'know?  oh!  here  -"  she  holds  out  the  bag  like  presenting  a  cake,  almost  celebratory  -  proud  of  herself  -  to  hand  it  off  to  them,  "-  i  just  put  the  sandwich  i  made  on  top,  'cos  i  didn't  want  it  to  get,  like,  all  squished  in  my  tote  -  it's  the  one  on  top,  wrapped  up  all  pretty  in  beeswax  -  it's  lemon  patterned!  and  reusable!"  her  shoes  -  the  hooves  she'd  claimed  to  wear  -  are  toed  off  one  after  the  other  as  she  waits,  gently  pushing  them  towards the wall with her foot.  manners,  and  all  that.  "what  are  you  working  on  anyways?  or  is  it,  like,  super  top  secret  evil  scientist  stuff?"
