I feel like a moron. LOL. I completely forgot that I had already installed MS Word on this computer so I set out to do that again. Imagine my shock when I found the W icon sitting innocently on my taskbar after I had gone through several hoops to try and get into my Microsoft account with my product key. Why am I like this?

I realize this is not the original, but this is almost just as good and Younha does not keep her Japanese back catalog on Spotify which is a real crying shame.

Sometimes, it's better to be a fan by yourself. I joined a fan group lately and some of them are the most toxic, clout-hungry people I've ever had the misfortune of meeting online. I know there are a lot of people like that, but I must admit I've never been so close to that kind of energy. Of course, I left the situation. I feel like I need a shower. Ew.

Best thing I've seen today

First time writing fiction in years! Literal years! I love that the category was already waiting for me to use it over at A03. I had wanted to post this on Fanfiction.net first but “Betty en NY” is not a category there yet, so I emailed Fanfiction.net’s support team to request that the category be created. I will hold off on posting this on FF.net until that category is up. Meanwhile, I think it was a blessing in disguise that FF was not quite yet ready because if we are being honest, A03 is a bigger “market” for fan fiction, anyway.

I love to write. I think I may have found my calling. Why did I ignore this for so many years? Oh, yeah. Because writing is hard. But strangely, it is also the easiest and most freeing thing.

I have been subpar at work for the past couple of days. I am so tired all the time. I am not sick. I just feel so drained. I wake up in the middle of the night and then fail to go back to sleep so I am exhausted for most of the day.

I lack the energy to take control of things at the moment. I am glad that the weekend is nearing. I need a break. I also need some time to be able to sort out my home office and my life.

I was subpar yesterday. I know I was. I wasn't paying attention. I have days like ebay when I am not at my best.

I lost my second gig today. Well, temporarily. It's back on next month. It's okay, I guess.

This weekend I'll need to make time for the things I'm studying. My brain isn't what it used to be, I find. I can't pick things up as quickly anymore. Sometimes I'm right in the middle of work going, "I used to know this. Why don't I know this now?" If I'm honest is because I don't take the time to work on my skills.

I'll just finish my SMM thing and then really get into graphic design. I know I hate being social, but lately I find that getting into the headspace of Catalina Escarpa helps. LOL.
