âThe Ginger Twins is the obvious choice from a campus full of guys that sent you that photo! â she lightly joked, nodding in agreement as they were nice names, but definitely nothing to rave about if they really out there saving the world. âOoo, wigs donât sound bad at all. As long as theyâre not too light or dark. Do you think we can pull off blonde? That would be a twist!â She gleamed at the entire idea, though it was a distant dream the thought wasnât a bad one at all. She turned her attention to the photo topic again. âThat could be true tooâŚit could have just been a complete accident and I pray itâs nothing life-threatening. I think itâs better that way if you block them. Weâll never truly know, but at least they wonât have to bother you again.â Anya cackled at Anneâs reaction to her semi-confession. It was just a thought. A high possibility, but how would she ever know? Anya wasnât even from this time and wasnât sure if she would ever see him again or if she would return home back to her time. âI think I would. With someone, Iâm very close to, but I really donât think Iâll ever see that person again. I really donât think thereâs much of point either, but I suppose itâs something fun people do in relationships,â she scoffed, rolling her eyes before shrugging. âI have no idea why men say and do half the things that cross their minds. Surely, thatâs a mystery thatâll stick around forever.âÂ
Anne tilted her head, studying her friend, imagining blonde hair in place of the reddish-brown that actually was on Anyaâs head. Perhaps she wouldnât look so good with hair that was so blonde that it might as well be whiteâ but blondish-brown hair? That would look stunning on the other girl... although she was fairly sure that Anya could pull off any hair colorâ screw her earlier comment. âYouâd look wonderful as a blonde. My complexion is a little too pale for blonde, I thinkâ but I suppose it would be better than black.â She shook her head, remembering her failed attempt at dying her hairâ that had been tragical, to say the least. âWe could even put on accents, although that might be a little counterproductive. Weâd probably end up spending our nights of vigilantism cackling at the way we speak.â It would be a fun and amusing exercise in self-restraint though, she had to admit. She pressed a couple buttons on her phone, finally blocking the number before turning back to her friend, leaning closer as she continued to speak. âI suppose it would be fun. Iâm no expert on that side of relationshipsâ or anything romantical, no matter how much I wish I had more experience. Romance is something Iâve only ever experienced in books, if Iâm being completely honest.â It wasnât that she needed to be in love, it was simply something she was curious about. She didnât live her life waiting for love, but she did wish she was better versed in it all. âIt seems that no matter the century, boys and men will never fail to baffle us with their idiocy and general demeanor.â
