The second her boots hit the court, Luna stumbles forward a step not from the landing, but from the adrenaline finally crashing in her veins. Her breath catches in her throat as the chaos fades, replaced by the soft hum of gym lights and the echo of silence bouncing off polished floors. She looks around slowly, the normalcy of it all almost surreal. An empty college gym, half-lit and quiet, smells like sweat and history and some weird kind of peace. It’s so far from the world she’s used to the cameras, the spotlights, the danger — and somehow, she’s never felt more exposed. Her eyes flick to Peter.
“You really know how to show a girl a good time,” she says with a smirk, voice a little rough around the edges, a little too breathless to hide everything she’s feeling. “Web-slinging past helicopters, dodging SHIELD agents, and landing me in a gym where I can smell three years of varsity sweat.”
She takes a step closer, voice softening. “But also? Kinda perfect.” There’s something in her face then something unguarded. She reaches for him, fingertips brushing the edge of his suit, grounding herself with his warmth. “I didn’t expect this to get so… real. I thought I could keep it light. Tease you, flirt a little, pretend like it didn’t mean more.” She hesitates, then looks him straight in the eye.
“But then you held me like I mattered more than all of that — the names, the labels, the headlines. Like you saw past everything I pretend to be.” Her fingers curl gently around the front of his suit. Not clinging — just staying.
“I know what they’re gonna say. About me. About us. That I’m reckless. That you’re distracted. That this is dangerous.”
A beat.
“And they’re right.” Her smile curves slowly — fierce and full of something like pride.
“But I don’t care. Let them talk. Let them come.” Then she reaches up and hooks a finger into the collar of his suit, pulling him just a breath closer.
“Because if we’re doing this… I’m not hiding it. Not you. Not us.” And with a mischievous glint in her eye, she glances toward the basketball hoop behind him.
“Also… fair warning: I’m terrible at basketball. But if this turns into a second date, I fully expect you to go easy on me.”
"Isn't it amazing to see? If you inhale everything just deeply enough, you'll get the smell of old glory in here and what makes ESU great. It could also be that nacho cheese machine that still hasn't been cleaned out all summer long, but we'll just chalk that up to the overall charm of my alma mater," Peter chuckled, glancing over at Luna to see her take in the scenery of his college. "It's not my first choice for a first day I promise, especially since there isn't exactly a football or basketball game going on with high stakes at the moment, but given our current predicament, it was the quickest place I could think of hiding out until we've got some breathing room." Thank goodness the public facing audience didn't know that Peter Parker was actually Spider-Man, or else there'd be a lot more headlines that Peter wanted no part of.
The latest romp through the city while trying to outmaneuver SHIELD agents of all people (assuming that's what they were anyway) had Peter's mind racing, and he wondered with Luna being somewhat still fresh to the superhero game after maybe what, two years of experience? He wondered just how committed she was to the idea of actually defying orders of her label, defying the potential negative feedback of dating someone like Spider-Man and having all of her icy hooks caught into him. While he wasn't a big K-Pop star, Peter had seen what type of effects the weight of success, fortune, and fame could have on a person, such as his best friend Harry Osborn. It was a lifestyle he wouldn't wish upon anyone, and yet here he was, gallivanting around in the moonlight with the charismatic singer who'd be the face of a musical generation when it was all said and done.
"Listen, I totally get that you wanna be rebellious. At the end of the day, you're more than just a pop star and a superhero, but a human just like me. You've got basic wants, needs, desires, and a whole lot more that you wanna be able to feel. I like you as much as you like me, and I respect that you don't want to run from the public about it. It's probably driving your PR team absolutely bonkers with what's going on right now too, huh?" he chuckled. "Why don't we just take things one day at a time and see where these daily strife and struggles lead us, yeah? Big decisions are fun and all, but let's try and work our way up to your next incredibly big decision with a bunch of smaller, more incremental ones that can pave the way for your big one, yeah?" He webbed a basketball off of the nearby stands and took a shot from halfcourt, smirking underneath the mask as a swish sound could be heard from the ball going smoothly through the net without any issue whatsoever, followed by thwipping a web over at Luna's ass and cracking it, making a loud sound effect that echoed through the gym.
She laughs — really laughs — the sound soft and low, curling into the space between them like fog rising off frozen streets. “Winter Fresh?” she echoes with a raised brow, her tone dripping with amused disbelief. “That’s what you’re going with? Not ‘Ice Queen’? Not something dramatic and broody like ‘Frostbite’?” She doesn’t pull away. If anything, she leans closer.. drawn in, magnetized by his chaos & charm, the way he talks like the world is a sprint & he’s still somehow trying to outrun it. But it’s that honesty beneath the humor that cuts through her defenses every time.
“You talk too much,” she says with a mock sigh, resting a hand gently on his chest again right over that steady, stubborn heartbeat of his. “But I guess I kinda like that about you.”
Her fingers trace a lazy circle there, subtle but intimate, her touch laced with a faint sparkle of energy. Not enough to chill just enough to tingle. “& maybe I do need someone who doesn’t flinch when I start to glow. Someone who looks past the lights and the name & just sees me.”
There’s a flicker of something vulnerable in her gaze just for a second then she tilts her head, lips curving into a knowing smirk. “But if you do call me Winter Fresh again, Parker, I will drop the temperature so low you’ll be clinging to me for warmth.”
& then she kisses him.
No hesitation. No teasing. Just a full, fire-meets-frost kind of kiss — the kind that tastes like risk & feels like everything she’s been afraid to want.
But it barely lasts more than a breath before—
“We’ve got movement on the east roof! Lights on, now!”
Blinding beams cut through the night, sweeping across the rooftop like searchlights. SHIELD security or maybe her label’s private patrol voices barking into comms as boots pound against the gravel. Luna pulls back just barely, her hands still tangled in the front of his suit, breath shaky but unwilling to let go. “They found us,” she murmurs, heart racing beneath her ribs. “They’re going to try & spin this… call it reckless, dangerous. Ruin you. Ruin me.”
But she doesn’t let go.
Instead, she presses her forehead to his, holding him in the chaos like he’s the only calm thing left. “So what now, Webhead?” she whispers, her tone fierce even in its softness. “You gonna swing us out of here like some dramatic rooftop fairytale— or are we standing our ground?”
"Me? Talk too much? I'm afraid you haven't even began to see me talking at my absolute worst yet. Just wait until you get to see me psychobabble and prattle on about various scientific hypotheses--" Peter quipped, but when Luna finally closed the gap between their lips and kissed him, it felt like winter time had come early to Manhattan for the second year in a row. Sure, she had amazing snow and ice powers that could probably give Bobby Drake a run for his money, but there was just something incredibly powerful about putting his lips to that of one Luna Snow. Again, she was more than just a pop star and a superhero to him, being able to see beyond the persona and the person who existed behind the identity of Luna Snow. He loved every second of it and held her body close, feeling the rush and adrenaline of the moment surge through their lips, their hands, their bodies, and their veins. Perhaps it helped that there were also authorities out there on the loose looking for them considering this timeline wasn't exactly the one they were supposed to be in at the moment. "Why do I get the feeling that you had me meet you up here just so that I could swing you away from trouble in grandiose romantic fashion? Smooth play Luna," Peter retorted, slight annoyance but mostly amusement in his voice.
"Honestly, as much as I'd love to knock out some security guys that like to pretend they're agents of SHIELD, so I hope you're ready for me to give you the front row seat to a thrill of a lifetime!" Peter exclaimed, already feeling his Spider sense beginning to blare wildly within his brain at the spectacle of many different security guards with helicopters beginning to surround them. This was not the planned evening he had in his imagination for either of them truth be told, but far be it from superheroes to have a nice quiet night out for themselves like normal people right? After deepening the kiss to make sure that the both of them could savor it for as long as their memory cores could remember it, Peter instinctively grabbed her body and held it close against his as tightly as he could, aiming his web shot at a nearby gargoyle to yank themselves completely out of the guards' range. With a helicopter flying after them with the buzzard sounds chopping extremely loudly and everything, Peter did everything that a spider could in this particular situation, spinning and shooting webs as fast as his web shooters could generate the fluid, sticking tight to rooftop corners, alleyways, a water well, web zipping through narrow spaces where big 'copters wouldn't be able to follow them. "Did you subconsciously sign me up for a big budget South Korean action flick and not tell me? Because that is totally not a great conversation starter for a potential relationship Luna!" Peter quipped, managing to land Luna safely into the basketball gym of the local nearby college at ESU, his alma mater. "Okay, think we should be safe in here for a little bit. They won't ruin us and our name Luna, I promise. We just need to clear our names."
She lets out a breath she didn’t realize she’d been holding the second his arms wrap around her. It’s ridiculous how safe she feels there with the city buzzing far below & the cold wind nipping at her skin, & yet all she feels is warmth. She’d told herself not to get used to this. That it was a fleeting kind of comfort. Dangerous. Unreal. But in his arms, the noise of the world just… fades. & for a girl who’s spent years performing under spotlights, drowning in noise — that silence feels sacred.
“Smooth words, Webhead,” she murmurs against his shoulder, her voice laced with a playful smirk. “But I’ve heard better lines in idol dramas. & they didn’t end well for the guy.”
Still, she doesn’t move away. Not yet.
There’s a soft ache in her chest.. A longing she’s spent so long trying to ice over.. Being Luna Snow meant always being in control. It meant smiling when she wanted to scream. Being beautiful when she felt broken. But with Peter? With him, the edges start to melt. & for once, she doesn’t want to stop them.
She tilts her head up to meet his gaze or what she can catch beneath the mask. Her fingers gently tracing the edge of the fabric, teasing, testing, but not yet pulling it away. That moment will come. But not yet. She wants to feel this build. She wants to savor it.
“You know,” she continues, her tone softer now, like snow melting under sunlight, “you make it really hard to do the responsible thing. To walk away. To pretend this—” her hand slides to rest over his heart, feeling the beat beneath it “—is just a passing feeling.”
She can feel it, strong & steady. Real. Not a fantasy. Not something scripted or curated for fans. This is Peter. Messy, late, infuriating & somehow exactly what she’s been needing without ever knowing she did. The glow from her powers flickers like stardust across her skin, casting delicate light over their faces. A reminder of who she is. What she is. But for once, she doesn’t shrink from it.
“They warned me about people like you. Said you’d be a distraction. A danger to my focus. Bad for my brand.” She laughs softly, almost bitterly. “& maybe they were right. Because when I’m around you, I forget the script. I forget the world. I just want to stay in this moment. With you.”
Her voice trembles slightly at the edges, but she doesn’t hold back. Not tonight. She leans in closer, so close her lips almost brush his, her voice dropping to a whisper that only he can hear.
“So if I am crazy, I guess I’ll blame the guy who keeps looking at me like I’m not a goddess or a hero, but just a girl you actually see.”
She wonders if he can feel her heart racing. Wonders if he’s thinking the same thing — that somehow, against all logic, this impossible connection feels more real than everything else in their lives.
A pause. A breath. A beat of silence full of all the things she can’t say aloud.
“& if you don’t kiss me right now, Spider-Man… I might actually start freezing things on purpose.”
And she would. Just to keep him close a little longer.
"Well I don't know much about some of the K-dramas that you watch over there in South Korea, but the telenovelas over here seem to paint me in a pretty smooth light if I do say so myself," Peter quipped, not at all stunned by Luna's words in the moment. He was a big ball of momentum, embracing any and everything that was thrown his way and just rolled with the punches. It was a part of what made the man behind the mask so damn complex and compelling simultaneously at the same time, the same allure that he possessed that could draw in even someone with the magnetic appeal and charisma of one Luna Snow. "You know, it's hard to walk away from something that you really want. Like shopping at a grocery store for the things that you need instead of the things that you absolutely want, because you have a responsibility to yourself to take care of your own needs first and foremost. Well, the non-selfish ones at least," he chuckled.
"I'm not surprised that people are in your ear trying to convince you that the Amazing Spider-Man is bad for Seoul's biggest star since Gangnam Style was a thing. There's millions in this city alone that J. Jonah Jameson consistently tries to convince that I'm a bad person, but people reserve the right to make up their own minds about who I am, and what I do as a person that defines their lives. I'm not gonna be early, but I'll try my best not to be super late. You can't save everybody, but that doesn't mean I'm not gonna try my damn hardest to try. Your label manages Luna Snow the brand, but they don't control Luna Snow the person, no matter how much agency they try to use to control you." Technically, Peter broke the laws every single day being a superhero who stopped crimes and fought supervillains to a standstill, so what different was this little experience here honestly?
Scratching the side of his head, the webhead took a heavy deep breath to soak in the surrealness of the city right now. His heart sank into his chest like a beat dropping to the backdrop of Manhattan, and the hero knew where this was going in particular. Sure, he'd been in a multitude of different relationships with both powered and non-powered women, but never on a scale where someone possessed as much star power as the one and only Luna Snow. "You know, fun fact: I do like women who are very much emboldened by my presence and very forward, and you could very well fit that bill Seol Hee. Not to mention freezing me out here in this weather wouldn't be the worst suggestion in the world," he joked, lifting up his mask just partly above his lips as he closed the distance between their faces. "If we kiss and I'm breathing cold air afterwards, I hope you know I'm calling you Winter Fresh afterwards from now on."

The city was quieter at night, when the music faded & the crowds went home. But rooftops? They always stayed honest. That’s why she waited here — wind brushing through her hair, faint glow of her powers still dancing across her fingers like snowflakes born of emotion.
“You’re late, Webhead. I thought New York’s friendly neighborhood hero was never off the clock.”
She smirks, but there’s something in her eyes.. Something softer than the chill she usually wears like armor. When she hears him land behind her, the tension she didn’t realize she was holding slowly fades.
“They’re talking again. The Avengers. SHEILD. Even fans online. Saying we shouldn’t be seen together. That we’re… bad for each other’s image. Like I’m too cold. Like you’re too reckless.”
She turns to him slowly, eyes glowing faintly in the moonlight, her voice dropping to something more real.. more vulnerable…
“But when I’m with you, I don’t feel like Luna Snow. Or an idol. Or even a hero. I just feel… like me. & I think that’s worth the risk.”
She pauses, then lets out a quiet breath — half a laugh, half a sigh.
“Tell me I’m not crazy for wanting this. For wanting you.”
Leave it to Peter to be late for just about anything in his life nowadays, but at least he could technically chalk it up to being part of his charm? Regardless of his lack of punctuality at the moment, excitement rushed through his veins at the thought of being able to see Luna Snow once more to continue on with this complex, intriguing string of supposedly forbidden romance that neither were supposed to be taking part in. Luna Snow was a Korean idol, a global sensation, and with that popularity and brand came certain rules, regulations, and restrictions that Peter wasn't even well equipped within his legal jargon to begin to understand. And he was Spider-Man, New York's most popular superhero by a country mile, and even that wasn't without its stress and fair share of problems. To be able to come together in moments like these were exactly the type of thrills that Peter could enjoy living for, only comparable and surpassed by the feeling of web swinging through the entire city like Manhattan was his own playground.
"Well, you're not crazy for wanting me so long as you're not trying to kill me or smash my head like a pumpkin," Peter quipped, landing on top of the building with a perfect pose. "But if you're feeling that crazy about me, then I guess maybe you're not a complete psycho," he smirked underneath the mask, pulling the icy superheroine in for a tight squeeze, allowing their bodies to soak in the affection and feeling of the moment from one another. "As someone who's lost themselves in the mask and tights on more than one occasion, your heart and instincts are never wrong about wanting to feel like more than just a superhero and singer, Luna. There's plenty of room for you to be Seol Hee too, and if I'm helping you with that fleeting feeling, then...who cares what everyone else thinks right?"

I gotta put Rivals down for a little bit. Way too many hours poured into this game xD
Aerith is laughing as they're swinging around the slums, but she's not sure of how much she appreciates this. Well, for now it's fine because they're in the slums, but she's pretty sure she would be scared if she could see the big blue sky. She hates it so much because it keeps taking away people she loves. That's why she's much more at peace here, in the slums, even if a part of her is curious about all the tales her mother used to tell her as a child.
She lets a chuckle escape her mouth. "Oh, I can take it. Trust me, I'm a badass!" she assures, smiling proudly. Well, maybe she's not actually a badass, but she's surely much stronger than she looks. In the past few years, she has even learned how to use her magic and materias to fight against enemies. She's still learning, but at least, she feels much more useful than she previously was. "Yeah, you seem to be the kind of person easy to trust." She has talked in her usual playful way, offering him a bright smile. She raises a curious eyebrow when he talks again. Aerith herself feels that something is wrong. Something will probably happen soon. Her connection to the Planet, the voices of her ancestors... She can't tell Spider-Man about them, but she just knows. "Maybe it's Shinra's doing. They're always hurting the Planet. And there's Hojo, too..." She pauses. There's no one she hates more than this man; he took way too much from her. She offers him a smile as they arrive. "Yep! Here we are!" She laughs, welcoming the kids that have come in her direction for a hug.
"Oh I believe you're a badass. Appearances can be deceiving!" Spidey laughed in good nature, completely believing everything Aerith had to say about herself. Even if they'd only known each other for the better part of 15 minutes, Peter already felt like they'd known each other for five years for better or worse. She was beautiful, inviting, caring, and had such a kind yet bold soul that in some ways it often reminded him of MJ all the way back home when they were together. Would he ever find a way back home? It was hard to say given he didn't even know where he was let alone when for that matter, but that wasn't going to stop Peter from making a difference in the place he was in right now. The mere mention of this Shinra company was already giving him bad vibes to say the least, and he made a mental note to ask Aerith a bit more about the company and their dealing later. He was the friendly neighborhood superhero after all, and taking down corrupt giant corporations was a part of his daily balanced breakfast.
Shaking his head from those drifting thoughts, Peter looked towards the kids who came wandering out of the building, assuming they'd just finished class? The way they completely embraced Aerith with such a loving and cherishing manner put a smile on his face underneath the mask. She really was as sweet as advertised, and that put him in an even better mood. "Hey guys, what's shaking bacon? I know I may look a bit strange on the outside, but I promise I'm just as giddy as you guys on the inside. Aerith, tell them about what we're doing here today," Peter grinned, rubbing his hands together and hoping that his sudden appearance didn't make the kids feel completely strange about his vibe or out of place.

Aerith lets a chuckle escape her mouth. "Oh, but I wouldn't let you fight them alone. It's not written on my face, but trust me. I'm quite capable too!" She's still not entirely used to fight because she never had to. But after Zack disappeared, she decided to learn, even if Elmyra has never wanted her to use her magical abilities to fight. But Aerith is strong. As the last remaining Cetra, she has powers no one else has. She won't mention this for now, though. But she wants to be useful, more than anything else. The voices of her ancestors keep telling her about the important part she will play to save the Planet.
She smiles gently. "I totally get what you mean. That's pretty much why I spend this much time with the kids of the Leaf House. I want to make them smile." Aerith's childhood was complicated. She spent the first years of her life inside Shinra building, and she eventually escaped, but her mother died on the way. She was lucky to be adopted by Elmyra who has always been a wonderful mother. But the other children never considered Aerith as one of them. She was always so weird. She was hearing voices and was saying weird things all the time. She has learned to keep these things to herself with the years. She laughs at Spider-Man's enthusiasm. Well, it seems like she'll have to swing her way with him, no matter what it means. She smiles once again, her eyes shining with curiosity. "Well... is there a risk of throwing up or something ? Not that I think that I would, but I want to know what I'm getting myself into." She teases as she wraps her arms around him. Once he jumps, she laughs happily.
The thrill of swinging in the air like this was just spectacular to say the least, and that wasn't a pun he tried to use often. In the same instance, how could you not? Sure, this place may have not been New York in the slightest (even the slums didn't quite resemble the more torn down parts of Manhattan) but with people like Aerith around, the positivity of the human spirit could fight through anything. Shooting out one web to attach to the edge of the taller buildings in the slums to another, Peter ran across the side of the building before jumping right back into the swing of his momentum, allowing Aerith to see a view of her home that she'd presumably never quite seen before from this vantage point.
"Pretty awesome right? I have to give you credit for not losing your lunch all over my costume too, appreciate that!" Peter quipped, doing a spectacular spider spin to dive straight through the creases of two tightly squeezed building spaces with little to no effort whatsoever. "I just want you to know that you can trust me, and that I'm here to help," Peter explained, wanting to admit to a slight feeling he'd had since dropping here into this world via some unexplainable machination. "I can't explain it, but there's something going on around this place, and it's a weird feeling in my gut I haven't been able to actually shake since landing here, know what I mean? And I don't mean that around you or anything, because I get nothing but good vibes and a nurturing nature from you Aerith. But if there's something going on here, clue me in? I wanna help however I can," he assured the brunette. They managed to finally get deeper into the slums of the neighborhood, where there were more bodies constantly busying themselves with various tasks, and lo and behold, there were the pack of kids running around, perhaps playing a game? "I think we're here!"
Tifa was fuming, the man’s words making her itchy to punch him right in the mouth. Luckily, Peter stepped in and kept her from causing a lawsuit form happening.
Stepping back, she grabbed her items and joined him in their lane.
After getting her shoes on, she picked a ball and smiled, relaxing and feeling better about the circumstance. “You’ll have to see to find out,” she mused, smirking towards Peter.
“Why? Are you worried about me showing you up, Peter?” she teased.
"Who me? Worried? Nah, I think you got the wrong guy. I mean, if I was worried, you'd probably see me rambling on with several touches of humor mixed in. I mean, you could bowl like a national champion...or your style could just be bowling shoe ugly," he joked, not wanting to let her get too overconfident in her skills. For all he knew, she could be some kind of former college bowling national champion, and retired for the love of the game because it wasn't there anymore. Or maybe he was just simply making up stories inside of his head for his own amusement and not exactly wanting to lose this game. All fun, but he could still be competitive. "Why don't you check out my skills?" he smirked, walking over to the lane to pick out an incredibly polished blue bowling ball. Little did Tifa know, having those "stick'em powers" enabled Pete to have a way better than usual grip on the ball, and as he rolled it straight down the lane, he knocked down every single pin with near ease. "Wow, how about that? It's almost like I knew I had it in me or something!" he laughed, kissing her forehead. Her turn could either go incredibly well, or incredibly bad. Maybe laughable? He rubbed his hands together. "Let me know if you need some tips."

Tifa was genuinely enjoying her time with Peter. As they walked to the bowling alley, she found herself wondering which side she was drawn to more – Peter Parker or Spiderman. Both sides were quirky, alluring, and attractive. She was thankful that it was all one man, though, in the end. Spending time out in the city like this made time pass by with ease.
Once they arrived at the alley, though, her mood soured. Without hesitation, she leaned over, glaring at the guy, her eyes burning with warning. “Mind your fucking manners, Sir. Or would you like to see what this busty woman is capable of?” she sneered, hand forming a fist as her gaze didn’t waver.
Tifa was more than used to this rudeness in her own bar, but out in public? Hell no.
The male eye making notice of Tifa and practically any other woman he dated wasn't anything new to Peter, but he did find it incredibly annoying. While he was usually game to speak up on behalf of his date, he often found that the women he dated were more than bold enough to take care of themselves and speak out before he could even utter out a single syllable. The guy at the register sighed, rolling his eyes in annoyance at how Tifa wouldn't be playing his game whatsoever. "Fine, whatever lady. Tell somebody who actually gives a shit. I bet your tits get in the way of you actually bowling well--" he started, before Peter finally cut him off. "Unless you want her to roll a strike in your face, you'd probably just better do your job and let us enjoy our date, deal?" The employee decided not to make anything further of it, getting their bowling shoes and directing them to Lane 7 to enjoy themselves. "Alright, now that we've avoided taking a left turn down Ugly Street, what say we get back into our bowling spirits?" Peter mused, slipping into his own shoes and allowing Tifa to use him as a pole to balance out and get her own shoes on. "How good did you say you were at bowling again?"

Aerith can't help but let a chuckle escape her mouth. "I think we have monsters that are some kind of giant spiders, though! I've never fought them myself, though..." She has only started recently to learn how to fight. She still has quite a lot to learn from her magic. She knows how materias work, and she feels a connection to magic materias in general, but she's so scared it's not enough. She keeps that bright smile of hers on her lips. It's not like she's going to start talking about her insecurities to someone she just met.
She chuckles softly once more. "You know, you've seemed like the type who enjoys spending time with children, but I'm glad to know it." Maybe it's because of Spider-Man's costume, but she just knows the children of the slums will like him, too. They always enjoy having people talking care of them. They've been quite lonely, after all, and Aerith always does her best to help. She raises a curious eyebrow at his offer. "Swing ?" she repeats, not entirely sure of how they could do that. Probably with his webs. "Well, I guess it could be fun! Is it similar to flying ? Not that I've ever flown, but still..." She chuckles once more, clapping her hands together.
Peter's reflective eye lens just so happened to widen in surprise at the mere mention of giant spiders being a thing around here. "Wait, for real? I mean, I don't blame you for not fighting them, and I definitely can't turn into a giant spider as far as I know, but if we ever happen to cross paths with any, you can count on this Webhead to save the day," he grinned, even partly hoping that she was able to see through the mask to the cheeky smile that he was displaying right about now. Peter wasn't any stranger to fighting off giant hordes of monsters given the fact that he'd literally saved his own city from a hostile alien invasion of symbiotes and cleansed the whole town as a result. If he could avoid bringing symbiotes here though and spare Aerith the trouble, then that would just be dandy to say the least.
"I'm glad you can get a good vibe from me being good with kids and everything. Don't have any of my own, but sometimes these things just feel second nature when it comes to helping people who are down on their luck or less fortunate, know what I mean?" As May always said, when you help someone, you help everyone, and those were quotables that would always stick with the hero for the rest of his life. "And yes, your ears aren't deceiving you. I said what I said: we're going to swing our way over to the slums and take things from there. I know it sounds a bit weird hearing me say that, but experiencing it is a completely different feeling altogether. I did this all the time back home, so you can trust me; I'm a professional." I've always wanted to say that out loud, Peter thought to himself in amusement. He lowered his body down just slightly allowing Aerith to climb onto his back. "Wrap your arms around my shoulders and cross them as needed, because it's gonna be one hell of a jump!" Peter exclaimed. He fired two web lines at two different trees and started stepping back as far as he possibly could to stretch out the limits of his web as far as possible, and as a rssult, both Peter and Aerith were instantly catapulted high into the sky as a result. "Woohoo!"
