Call me an old soul, call me a loser, but I want to meet the people who mean the world to you. That could be your parents, your best friend you’ve known since the third grade, your favorite teacher when you thought you wouldn’t graduate high school, the barista with a new hair color each time you visit as they make your iced coffee just right, the co worker you hated in the beginning of work but over time became close friends, the cousin who dared you walk up to me at the bookstore, your great-grandma who makes your favorite dessert, that one musical artist who was there for you when you didn’t feel like getting up but stayed with you all night, or even the other musical artist who was there for you when you felt the most happiness you ever felt, and so many more. If they loved you before I got the chance to love you… I want to know them. Not to compete with them but because I want to get the chance to see who loves you just as much as I love you. So yeah, I may be an old soul or a loser for saying this, but I hope you’ll let me meet the people who mean the world to you.
