The 'chalice' that Barok was holding out was in this case, not one of the fine goblets that Ryuunosuke was used to seeing. It was simply a bottle of wine, one that it seemed Barok had already gotten most of the way through, before Ryuunosuke had found him.

He hesitated. Barok was clearly very drunk.

But that meant he shouldn't be drinking any more, right? It was Ryuunosuke's duty to save him from himself.

Nervously, he took the bottle and drained it, tasting Barok on his lips.

I am a huge fan of characters relationship development in "Ace Attorney" games.

Especially between these two, growing from despise and loathing to deep mutual respect.

I know #capcom never intended any romantic involvement for them, but I like the idea nevertheless.
