I was re-watching Atypical and remembered how much people used to hate the idea of Casey and Izzie being together. They used to say that “It doesn't make sense to destroy Casey and Evan because of Izzie”

They will meet here after the battle scene from episode 4. Mike, Will and Joyce will probably get there through the tunnels:

I'm guessing Will is seeing the hospital invasion. Maybe the "RUN!" scene is him warning them about Max.

I believe the demogorgons are there to take her body, just like they did with Holly. Lucas, Robin and Vickie will be at the hospital for that demogorgon invasion.

I'm guessing Will is trying to help them through the invasion, and that's why he will be unconscious at the couch.

Maybe this scene is something "you're no longer allowed to use these powers" kind of thing, which will probably make him feel helpless “useless”:

At this point, they'll probably have Max's body at the radio station.

I guess Eleven and Hopper will be in Hawkins after/during the invasion, because when Dustin and Mike reunite in the UD, she is already there with the special suit:

Maybe this is something "I'll be in charge of the searching and usage of powers up here for now on" type of thing AND I'm hoping an honest (break up) conversation happens here:

Couple 1 - Jancy

Nancy starts the show dating Steve.

By the end of season 2 she is dating Jonathan (the outsider)

Couple 2 - Lumax

Max is introduced in season 2 having 2 love interests, even if she doesn't know, she has options.

By the end of the season she chose Lucas.

Couple 3 - Jopper

Joyce is dating Bob when we, as an audience, learn that Hopper is romantically interested in her.

By the end of season 4 they get together.

Couple 4 - Rovickie

Vickie is introduced while being in a relationship. We, as an audience, know that Robin is romantically interested in her.

By the end of season 4 Vickie breaks up with the boyfriend and will be with Robin in season 5. (The other person)

Couple 5 - Mileven

They get together in season 1, start dating in season 3 and don't face any controversy in terms of having a third person. Until…

The outsider (Will) is revealed in season 4 and now we, as an audience, can identify who is in the middle of the triangle (Mike) and will have to choose.

Conclusion -

If they play by the rules of their own game: The middle of this triangle will choose the “other person”, the “outsider”, the person they were not dating already.
