Alyssa could remember being a young child. She recalled the lands of her imagination and how pure her faith was in everything. Everything then was in conflict, though. She believed what she learned in school as fact, but she dreamed in pigments they could never explain in schools. She remembered knowing she wasn’t invincible from what they told her, but at every chance that came her way, she tried that. Truly, it was amazing Alyssa had made it into adulthood, but in this moment, she had to recall the fearless nature of her youth. She had to jump into the unknown with full knowledge that everything could go wrong. That was life. She had to take the chance.
The male had finally taken his leave from his friends to get a drink. Alyssa decided in this moment approach him with nothing in mind but the longing to know more. The life she had made had collapsed, and in the ashes, she was trying to figure out what she wanted next. She knew when she saw this man for the first time that she wanted to be like him.
Alyssa imagined fitting in. She could blend in, but fitting in was entirely different. He had some great features about him, but for the most part, he was absolutely ordinary. It was what she wished she was. It wasn’t self-hatred or shame that made her long to be like this male so bad. It was purely out of curiosity onto how to be that way. It was as if she lived her whole life in a world of blue, and he was a shade so much richer than that. Alyssa walked to him for this reason. Her hand tapped his shoulder, and a smile graced her lips as she looked to him. “I’m AJ,” she informed him her eyes focused on his. “I would like to get to know you,” she informed him.
Coming from a wealthy family, Kuno has always realized that he was privileged, but besides nice, expensive gifts, his parents also gave him tutors throughout his childhood. Education was important to him and that’s all they made him focus on. It was strict for a family that was able to do anything and at anytime - but his parents wanted him to grow up “normally” without all the privileges given to him, instead he had to work for it.
Though it continued until the he graduated from high school, it changed drastically when he started to live along for university. He was no longer controlled, and he stayed out drinking until who knows how long and that’s where it started: the nightclubs. He went to many and stayed at many, a lot of people can recognize his face as well.
He didn’t consider himself different from anyone, he just knew that he had more money than normal students did. He didn’t display it though, he just wanted to blend in like everyone else in the dark, yet bright setting. Despite alternating the different clubs from night to night, there was always someone to talk to, something he enjoyed, despite the amount of effort that goes into raising his voice in order for the other person to hear. Kuno turned around at the tap, brow raised as he wondered who it was, a new face. His body turned as well before he replies, “Nice to meet you, I’m Kuno - what?” That was quick, they barely got interact and she already wants to “get to know” him? “What do you mean by that?
